Great camp ground. Beautiful clean pool with a bar and food options. Nice restaurant /bar and market. Fair prices. The only down side I found is that either I missed the notification that they do not provide towels, either room or pool, or that it wasn't disclosed. But overall, wonderful stay. Great location.

Not flexible

Unsociable City campsite. Possibility to stay 1 night to visit Siena. Unfriendly response to the question if we could leave a little later than 11 am to see Siena and we did not like having to put the camper outside the gate. Leaving later was not possible despite there was no chicken.. next time we look a little further

Nice camp site

Loved this site, very friendly reception, decent facilities, nice pool and nice bar/restaurant area, but food we haf though was very poor. We hadn’t booked, but the pitch was decent and had plenty of room. The area for campervans was crowded though. What made it for us was the dog friendly grass area by the pool with free beds which dog owners had priority over, free dog treats,l and water bowls. Not cheap at 46 euros per night, but worth it. It is a hilly site, so uphill walking at some point. Siena lovely.

Good

Paved parking space for travelers is okay. The campsite is terraced, making the reception and restaurant somewhat difficult to reach.
The sanitary facilities were clean and the staff was friendly.

It could be a nugget but...

Ideally placed to visit Siena with a bus service 5 minutes from the campsite, the configuration of van pitches is not ideal (we had an earthy pitch with ruts generated by muddy ground in case of rain). In addition, the terrain was obviously not stabilized and flat.
The negative aspect remains the inadequate number of sanitary facilities and lack of regular maintenance (grounds absent in some showers and not replaced).
A serious adaptation to current standards of this type of campsite would really be necessary (see campsites in Florence or Verona of similar size)
However, the reception staff is very professional and considerate.
