A Splendid Stay in Siena
Situated in a traditional town house on a little side street away from the main tourist area you will find BnB Paolina. Accommodation comprises of three elegant bedrooms and a suite for two. Location is within easy walking distance of the Campo and Duomo Our room had amazing views from the balcony and bedroom over the Botanical Gardens and the Tuscan Hills in the distance. Samira and Guiseppe were perfect hosts, always pleasant and friendly. Thoroughly recommend staying in Paolina and Siena itself.

An unforgettable experience
An unforgettable experience. It is true that to reach the floor where the rooms are there is a staircase, but it is inevitable because it is an old palace. Like almost everything else in Siena the views are unmatched.
It is a joy to contemplate from the room where a large window is available the sunrise and sunset. It also has a common area where breakfast is served, where there is absolutely nothing missing, to share between the two rooms.
The owners attention is very close and attentive, they are available for everything. The room is spacious, completely renovated, and enjoys a good mattress and pillows. The situation is equally outstanding. Just look at the photos that are taken from the room and from the breakfast balcony to see the beauty we talk about.
Quality price of 10. Certainly if we return to Siena there is something that we will be very clear and that is to return to BNB Paulina.

Host husband is aggressive
Do not stay here, the husband is a bully and abused us and physically hurt my hand when returning the keys( grabbed my hand with the keys in and squeezed so hard which made my finger bleed)
Situation- my husband sat on one of two chairs in the room, as he rested, the chair came apart at the back. Luckily the bed was behind.
On the morning of check out we told the host that the chair had broken and needs re glueing.
My husband restores and makes furniture so could see it was an old break that had been glued in the past but obviously had come apart. He actually put it back together. We informed them purely so none else would get hurt.
Well the hosts husband came up to our room and aggressively accused us of breaking the chair without even asking which chair or looking at it and demanded 500€ ,I said you must be joking. He demanded our passports and was not going to let us leave. We disputed this and he finally let us go.
We have stayed in many accommodation with antique furniture, but never have we experienced this behaviour.

Very Nice Stay
The property was very clean, the location was within walking distance to most sites. the view from from our room was lovely. Breakfast was very good - the typical European things, yogurts, cereal, meats and cheeses etc.
This property I felt was difficult to contact anyone before we arrived. I tried calling the property for at least 4 hours and a recording said it was not available. Once I arrived I was told the owner was on vacation and was given a different number should I need to contact anyone. I think this should have been done prior to my arrival. Although our room was cool when a/c was on, it was a floor model and it made a lot of noise. During the night the air conditioner kept us awake.
Also within a 5 minute walking distance is a wonderful museum called Museo Di Astoria Naturale dell Accademia dei Fisiocritici which was a great museum. Free entrance, donations only.

Best view ever!
Staying here and walking around Siena ended up being one of our best nights! The view from the room we stay in, and the shared balcony is absolutely breath taking, specially during fall with all the beautiful colors of the trees! The host recommended some really nice authentic restaurants were we had the best tiramisu ever!! The breakfast here was also very filling, fresh croissants and Juice! This is the kind of place you enjoy so much you almost want to keep it a secret, and find a way to buy the apartment! We will defiantly be back! Also really great and positive service while at the same time being respectful of your privacy. Thanks again!
