Easter in Balma, Roure
Beautifully maintained place by Mrs. Angela and her daughters.
Amazing breakfast with all homemade products including exceptional jams that I absolutely had to buy.
Despite arriving without booking
we had a family and warm welcome without any problems.
Thank you very much, we will be back.

Pleasant stay
Very nice bb located in a quiet hamlet in Val Chisone, perfect as a base for excursions in the area, to visit villages, and not far from the ski slopes of the most renowned Sestriere.
Room and bathroom spotless, well heated and spacious; our room had the surrounding mountain views. Varied breakfast excellent and plentiful, very welcome and really delicious cakes and homemade jams. Much appreciated the presence of kettle and tea bags _ herbal tea in the room. Very kind and considerate Mrs. Angela. We only stayed for 2 nights. We had a great time. I recommend it!

A quiet Easter Monday day 2026
We had a great time.
The B&B is perfect! The very large room and bathroom are very warm and are equipped with cleanliness and order.
Mrs. Angela along with her daughters possess kindness and friendliness that are not found everywhere.
The very hearty breakfast with homemade products (exquisite local fruit jams such as that with wild blackberries rosemary and thyme and finally cakes such as pastiera, cocoa cake and finally a berry cake excellently !!!! ) cheered us up for the start of the Easter Monday day!!
It will be another great reason for us to return.

I didn't feel any better
The other very good reviews I can only fully confirm. I took four days to explore the area around Sestrière and Susa by motorcycle. Especially the Assietta ridge road. It is also not too far to Colle Bercia, Colle del Lys, Colle del Colombardo or Colle du Sommelier. I was able to park the motorcycle safely. My charming, farm-furnished room with very large bed, small desk, farmer's closet, small bathroom with shower and enough storage space has offered me everything I needed. In the evening I could sit comfortably in front of the room on the balcony. Breakfast left nothing to be desired. It was fantastic. Fresh fruit from our own garden, omelettes of eggs from our own chickens, sweet cakes, numerous jams, but also savoury items such as bread, cheese and ham. Plus all coffee variations. The landlady, Angela, was more than friendly and always tried to make your stay as pleasant as possible. She even put down a small clothes rack for me, unsolicited, so I could dry my clothes. Angela was always there and helpful in any situation. In the area there are two or three recommended pizzerias and bars where you can still eat in the evening. The value for money for the accommodation is absolutely fine. According to my wishes and what I value, I can really only award highest scores. If I go back to you region, I'll certainly stay with Angela in Balma.

A house, a dream and... again the hope that, as a phoenix Arab, rises from the ashes
The Maison MARIOT represents a desire that becomes reality. For a lifetime, you dream of being able to dream. Then, by chance, a photo appears on Google and you realize that that will be your destination. Everything is perfect and nothing and no one will ever have to change that house. However, the magic of the place comes from Mrs. Angela, her daughters and her beautiful granddaughter, Irene.
The rooms are exactly what I had always wanted: perfect, with the flavor of a time that seems to have stopped here. I avoid comments on breakfasts, not recommended for those who live eternally on a diet!
If I may, I would like to caress, with this humble but heartfelt comment of mine, Gioia, the greedy cagnolona and Fumetto, the cat that in the evening meows gently in front of my room, eager to cuddle.
Thank you for allowing me, in a dark time, to find the light again.
For those looking for the rainbow, after the storms that are not spared to anyone in life, I recommend packing...
