Very nice!

The room has good size. The location is very central, with the taxi stand across the street. Very close to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. We walked everywhere, except the Vatican, which we took the taxi there, and took the metro back. Recommended!

Great location but disappointing.

We booked this hotel for 7 people - 3 couples and 1 single - for 3 nights in Rome. The location is fantastic. Our room was as described and located at the property address, as was one of the other couples. The third couple and our single friend were sent to properties close by but not in the same building.
The biggest issue we had was that our single friend was told that he would have to move for his last night since there was going to be street work done and the power to the building was being cut off. He was told all guests were being relocated. He was not offered anything for his inconvenience. The morning of his move he met another guest in his building and talked about them all moving. This guest from California with a family was not moving and there was no street work being done.
Classic Roma had lied to our friend (and they admitted it when confronted) so that they could place another guest in his spacious apartment. He had to leave by 10am and was told his new room would not be ready until 3pm. He was able to get into it by noon.
Classic Roma made no apology and didn't offer to compensate him for his inconvenience or trouble. Our friend (who doesn't use social media) was way too understanding in my opinion. If they will lie about this... what else will they lie about?
Other issues we encountered: two of us lost hot water during our stay, one didn't have air conditioning until the last day and their room was also missing a safe. Our rooms were also not cleaned each day.
But it was a nice room, comfortable enough bed, spacious and again... the location was great.

Very good value

The room is big and well equipped (but the tv that wasn't always working, but we didn't really care). It's well located (close to the metro line going to the Vatican).
The service is great: they even booked us a restaurant for the night of our arrival as there was no online reservation and my italian is well too limited.

Expected better

First thing to note is that if you arrive after 20:00 you will be charged extra for late check in, even though the guy who checked us in was here anyway.
TV in the room was not working, and reception said that it can only be fixed in 3 days time... we would have left by then.
Some decency from house cleaning is expected - left my wash cloth on the sink as it was still wet from this mornings shower, came back to find it on the floor. They also didn’t leave enough clean towels.
Location is good, nothing else to say. Please note we didn’t pay pittance to stay here. Truly expected better.

Fantastic location

The Classic Roma is in a great location within walking distance of the Spanish Steps and The Trevi Fountain. A taxi to the Vatican was 8 euro. We even walked to the Borghese Gardens. Alessio was extremely welcoming and very helpful. (Saturnia is stinky - you were right x).
Breakfast was generous and the rooms spotless. Great place to stay.
