Great location and a nice boutique hotel. It’s located a few minutes walk to the Forum and Colosseum. There’s some excellent restaurants nearby, the piazza outside is a local nighttime spot and the transit station is 100m away, making access to anywhere in Rome simple.
Good base to explore Rome on foot and if you’d like us you will do 25,000 steps a day.

I really wish I had known this before booking, so I want to make other travelers aware.
I booked MyTale because I specifically wanted to stay at the hotel. When I arrived, I found out that my room was actually in a separate apartment building. I had to check in at one location and then take my luggage to another building, which was confusing and frustrating after traveling internationally.
The biggest issue for me is that I did not feel this was made clear when I booked. Had I understood that I would be staying in a separate apartment rather than the actual hotel, I would have chosen somewhere else.
I’m not writing this because I’m looking for compensation. I simply think guests should know exactly what they are booking before they arrive. If you are considering MyTale because you want the hotel experience, I strongly recommend confirming that your room is actually located inside the hotel before booking.
Unfortunately, this really changed my experience and left me disappointed.

Very clean, kind staff, would def stay here again.
One thing I would say is that it is next door to a bar which gets noisy in the evenings until about 2am!

The hotel portion of this property may be amazing, but the apartment we stayed in was atrocious. There was mold in the bathroom and the floors were sticky!
The condition of the apartment, overall, was in disrepair. There are marks and scratches everywhere. It need a refresh desperately. The apartment smelled very musty like it had not been used in months! It was gross!
The Wi-Fi didn't work, so this probably will cost my family of 4 additional $$$. The air-conditioner did not work, so if you are going in warmer months, BEWARE.
I would not recommend this property. Most of the pictures they display are NOT from the apartment. I wish I would have taken pictures of how bad it was, but tried not to dwell on the negative.
