Very nice hotel
We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is well located close to the Termini Station. The room was clean and confortable. The family/staff is very friendly. Would definitely return to this hotel if going back to Rome. Totally recommended.

Can that be Arnold?
After a long wait, and realizing that it had been empty for five months and hadn't been assembled, I asked the receptionist and the master why this was happening. To my surprise, they kindly responded: we didn't set up because we don't have plates and cutlery. Can Arnaldo do this at CJ Shopping?

If you are looking for a clean, functional, conveniently located hotel - particularly if travelling by train - search no further. You just found the best deal you could be possibly find in terms of value for money. I left early an accommodation booked with Airbnb. Never had such an experience with Tripadvisor reviews, by the way...2 Lessons learned at once.

Very good location
The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is an easy five minute walk from Termini station and quite easy to find, very close to many restaurants. The lobby was very warm and homely. The lady on reception was very dour and didn't speak English but a younger man that worked there was very polite and spoke good English. The rooms were very dowdy and outdated (but some nice big photos) but the bathrooms looked updated, though very small. There's also two steps up to the bathroom so that wouldn't be great for anyone with limited mobility. There was a decent amount of noise from the road but that is really unavoidable in downtown Rome. I still slept well. The free wifi was good.

Arrived at the hotel on Friday and stayed here as a weekend get a way , upon arrival we were let in possibly by the owners mum? She checked us in and then we spoke with the owner who gave us our room key. We were advised to pay the €12 tax and when I advised I haven't yet changed my money over he allowed us to pay it whenever we were able to whilst staying at the hotel which I found very nice of the owner.
The room was a small double room with a step up into the toilet which was nice..nicer than the room/bathroom I have been in compared to my last stay in sorrento. The window would open up to view another building right across from us and offices to the right. I must say the location of the hotel is very central and expect noise.
The owner advised us that the hotel closed between the hours of midnight and 6am and whenever u left the room u had to drop your key at the desk. The owners were lovely people and there are maps at the desk which were free and showed you the city. We used Google directions for most of the weekend!
Our flight home was at 6.30am, I had advised this to the owner where he advised check out could be anytime upto 10am , I asked if he could call a taxi for 3am as the hotel would be closed , which he did there and then...taxi was right outside for 10 to 3 which the owner chapped our door to ensure we were ready and advised if it wasn't there to wait 5 or 10 minutes. I was greatful that he was awake to make sure we left safely and he was there for any assistance
The hotel is basic but the assistance we received was great and I would like to thank the owner for all his help. Would definitely return to this hotel if going back to Rome.
