Perfect stay in the heart of Rome
Our loyalty to the Corinthia group has a history of 20+ years. We are therefore very pleased to stay in the recently opened Corinthia Rome.
The (email) contact with the hotel in advance is excellent. They respond to mail quickly, they give direct answers and think along.
We book our transfers through the hotel. For example: airport - Corinthia Rome and Corinthia Rome - Cruiseport Civitavecchia.
The transfers are neat. One is waiting at the airport, the V-classe is chilled and the driver is pleasant and very helpful.
The transfer to Civitavecchia is also going well.
The hotel is recently opened, so it breathes new and fresh. The old bank building where the hotel is located is stately and chic.
The welcome is cordial and welcoming. After a prosperous check-in we are escorted to our room and escorted around in the comfort and convenience.
It has many comforts, an espresso machine, minibar, fully equipped bathroom, separate toilet and a spacious wardrobe. The bed is of good quality and the pillows are very comfortable.
The housekeeping does its turndown service excellent and also the housekeeping in the morning is perfect.
If a challenge arises in the room, it is handled very well and professionally, there is open communication about it and it is acknowledged and solved immediately by the hotel manager. The hotel manager is visibly present, approachable and always accessible for conversation.
The solution offered to us by the hotel manager and her team surprises us very much. We have greatly appreciated this throughout our stay.
Breakfast is phenomenal. There is an opportunity to have breakfast both inside and outside, in a beautifully landscaped courtyard garden. It has two small buffet tables, one stocked with a wide range of yogurt, cereals, milk, nuts and cereals.
The other table gives a wide range of fresh fruit, cheeses, fish and cold cuts.
The a la carte menu for breakfast is versatile and offers a wide range of egg dishes, fresh juices, hot drinks, freshly baked sweets and cold cuts.
All this is framed by a standard bread plateau, jam and honey etagere and a plateau with pastries.
The breakfast is truly sublime and a high-quality culinary start to the day.
The staff are enthusiastic and all very helpful, friendly and understand their profession. The concierges are very informative and inspiring.
Big compliments to every employee, no one excepted. I do not mention anyone by name, the whole team is sublime.
The hotel has two restaurants, Piazzetta and Viride by Carlo Cracco.
We dine the first evening at Piazzetta, same cuisine and service as Viride by Carlo Cracco, and are very impressed. The flavors are pure, fresh and of very high quality. Insanely.
We have the plan to have dinner at Viride by Carlo Cracco, now that we are sure to come back to Corinthia Rome we save that for our next visit. We have dinner all three nights at Piazzetta. All three evenings we are impressed by the dishes, the wines and the pure flavors. It is very consistent and that deserves a big compliment.
We celebrate our anniversary, and attention is paid to that in a subtle but tasteful way. Many thanks for that, we experienced it as an extra special day and evening because of this.
The wine list is of high quality and we drink the most delicious wines. A wine pairing, 3 or 5 glasses, is also possible.
I have already written a separate review about Piazzetta, this is definitely worth reading. We definitely recommend Piazzetta.
The hotel has an attractive and beautiful bar, we drink our pre dinner cocktail every evening outside, but the bar is very worthwhile. The cocktail menu is very good.
There is also a Spa and Fitness room, neither of which we use this time. The Spa menu is very extensive.
With gratitude and fond memories we look back on our stay, we thank everyone who made our stay so memorable.
We are sure we will return.

Majestic down to the smallest detail.
The first impression is majestic and beautifully grand. This impression accompanies one throughout the entire hotel. It is lovingly, thoughtfully, and very invitingly designed down to the smallest detail.
Our two-story suite was unmatched for me. It was equipped to the highest standard and something truly special.
Noteworthy is the inviting Piazzetta. A quiet oasis where one can immediately forget the hustle and bustle of the city. Here, one feels the Italian spirit and is pampered with heartfelt warmth.
The wellness area also invites relaxation. It is equipped with a sauna, steam bath, and two differently heated pools.
The fitness room leaves nothing to be desired. The equipment is brand new and of very high quality.
The entire staff is incredibly polite, attentive, and professional, yet unobtrusive.
Anyone visiting here should definitely treat themselves to the outstanding experience at the restaurant "VIRIDE."
Here, the palate is indulged with ideas from Chef Carlo Cracco. With a bit of luck, the chef cooks himself.
Our stay at the Corinthia Rome will remain unforgettable for us, and we are already planning our next stay at this wonderful hotel.

Stay here! You will LOVE it!
I am a harsh critic. This hotel was fabulous! Literally everything about it - location cannot be beat, the room was gorgeous, comfortable, housekeeping was extraordinary, towels were large and thick, front desk was helpful. The flowers are exquisite. It easily revivals a boutique version of a fine St Regis. Rooms are quiet, food was fantastic. Go to Rome and stay at thr Corinthia.

Magnificent new hotel in Rome
Superb , recently opened boutique hotel in the center of Rome. We were really taken by the highest level of service and quality of the finishes of this fabulous new hotel .
We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite on our arrival and what an amazing set of rooms ! Absolutely magnificent marble bathroom with full walk in shower and separate bath. The towels are fluffy and the accessories are superb. Nothing spared and just a pleasure , it was very thoughtfully finished with absolutely nothing missing. We had a wonderful dressing room with plenty of hangers and space for our clothes.
The bedroom was divine, super comfortable bed with crisp white linens and the most wonderful down quilt. We slept like babies with no noise or disturbances from the corridor. The room decor was a muted cream color with plenty of light from the large windows. The black-out blinds were absolutely effective and they certainly helped our sound sleep.
The hotel staff deserve their praise, always around to help and suggest . Always asking us if they can assist but not hovering too much. The hotel has a centrally enclosed courtyard and it is delightful. You can have all your meals there and depending on the time of day not be in full sun.. Food is beautifully prepared with both a light snack and a large dinner menu. Breakfasts are really nice although my only criticism is the buffet could be prepared with more choices. The cheese selection was poor and there was very little in fresh fruit, yogurts or smoked meats on display.. The breads and pastries were also missing so this needs improvement.A hotel of this calibre really needs a larger buffet selection and was the only area that was not up to the expected level.
Overall though a wonderful new hotel has arrived in Rome and we will certainly be staying there again on our next trip to Rome.

This new hotel is perfection!
Our stay at Corinthia was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met, making us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. The dinner at Viride and nightly nightcaps at the bar made our visit extra special!
