Lovely country spot

We only spent one night, in order to visit Villa Romana del Casale.
A lovely hotel, a little bit rustic, a little bit like visiting your great grandmother's house-in the best way possible. Very clean, comfortable beds in the room...and what I loved: open windows all night and fresh country air, bliss!
We did the set menu multi course dinner in their very pretty dining room- delicious food and lots of it, great service.
Decent breakfast which we enjoyed outside.
Highly recommend.

Lovely authentic place off the beaten track

It’s a lovely place . The accommodation is modern and clean, the pool area is nice and clean. The grounds are full of anti insect herbs. My only advice would be to take extremely strong insect repellent- they have insects 24/7 outside and it’s very annoying due to the areas location. The villa tries its best even providing insect repellent themselves but it’s just crazy if you are prone to being bitten. They are very helpful- dinner is eaten together at 8pm and is very nice and very Italian. You need to bring your own towels for the pool sun loungers. They have table tennis and archery but you need tons of anti bite stuff.
Just don’t book a hairdresser for any functions you may be needing to attend as they don’t show up despite the staff calling and asking.

Beautiful hotel - stay for dinner!

Beautiful hotel with amazing meals. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. There is coffee, but you can also ask the staff for espresso.
The fixed dinner menu is a great deal and some of the most amazing food I had in Sicily. Truly the lest part of the stay.
A few caveats. Our room had a bit of an ant infestation, and we were told not to drink the tap water. Not specific to the hotel, but the region has a lot of mosquitoes, so bring bug spray.

Everything fantastic.

We spent three days in this beautiful property, surrounded by greenery and well-maintained. We stayed in one of the external annexes attached to the property. The room was spacious, well-kept, and very clean. The staff is very kind and willing to fulfill your requests. A special greeting to the kind Yaya from Giovanni

Very nice place, but please hire another chef.
The dinner was terrible.
It was our first time in Sicily, where the food was boring, non tasting and just not good.
