Very beautiful hotel in the center of Parma
Very pleasant welcome and magnificent entrance hall.
The room is very spacious and comfortable, nothing to complain about.
The bathroom had a bathtub; we would have preferred a shower, but everything was clean and perfect.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant,
Impeccable service and delicious meal.
Just one small problem, the air conditioning was too cold.

First of all, the pros: modern-looking hotel, spacious room, good bedding.
The cons: outside the city center in a neighborhood that is not the nicest in Parma. Poorly soundproofed, we felt like we were sleeping in our neighbors' room. Leaking faucet.

Excellent base for visiting Parma and the Castles of the Duchy
We stayed at the Starhotels Du Parc in Parma during the Easter weekend, from April 4 to April 6, 2026, and the experience was very positive.
The hotel is in an excellent location, a few steps from the Ducal Gardens and about a 15-minute walk from the Pilotta Complex, which can be reached with a pleasant walk through the park. An ideal solution for visiting the historic center without having to use the car.
The property is well-maintained, and the rooms are spacious, quiet, and very clean. We particularly appreciated the excellent sleep quality, which made the stay even more pleasant.
During our stay, we also had the opportunity to stop for an aperitif in the hotel restaurant, where we enjoyed an excellent platter of cold cuts, which were high-quality and well-presented.
A thank you goes to all the staff, who were always kind, professional, and helpful.
Overall, it is a property that we feel we can recommend both to those who wish to visit Parma and to those who want to use it as a starting point to explore the splendid Castles of the Duchy and the surrounding area.

Good location, good property, but there are gaps in the service. Lack of bellhops, lack of bartenders in the hotel cafe, almost constantly.
