Palermo forever
Meanwhile, the pleasure of welcoming a lady, Noemi, smiling, polite, available to meet your needs. (And not a code to type and many greetings!) Then, the convenience of being downtown, a walk and you are in the heart of the city. Great choice, to repeat.

Can I start with what was strange. I wrote that I will be arriving at 20;00 when I made the reservations. But when I arrived at 20:05 the door was closed and they were not aware of my reservation/. Thankfully all doors could be remotely opened and I was able to enter. Glad that it wasn’t raining.
Breakfast was not served in the b&B due circumstances, but they arranged for BF at a local cafe. Funny to eat breakfast like a local.
Lastly checkout was at 10:00. That’s really to early. 11:00 or 12;00 would be better. I overlooked this when I booked.
Luckily Noemi made it possible for a later checkout.
I think I was the only guest.
The b&B was located ina building along with other b&B like luxurxy suites.
It has an elevator.
Quite a beautiful building. Rooms and public spaces was clean and well maintained.
Water in shower at night was weird. It changed from hot to cold. Right when I was full of soap. Important to not turn up the water. Because after a few minutes it got hot again. And it could be scalding hot.
The shower was big enough, but the entrance was quite awkward. Be careful if you are not so mobile.
Location was great. Right between the cruise port and the city/center of town. Plenty of busses. But truthfully…the busses is weird when they come or not. I just walked everywhere. Palermo’s easy to walk as it’s quite flat.
In the neighborhood is very quiet. Not many restaurants orsupermarket.
So you can sleep really well.

To improve...
We booked a quadruple and a double for single use the evening before our arrival. Great availability, friendliness and kindness of Marco and Noemi who assisted us in everything from the first contact. The rooms are clean and as described. Comfortable beds. Quiet rest despite being in a busy area probably thanks to the ability to close the windows and turn on the air conditioners that are quiet. We did not use breakfast because the property is located in a central area and is surrounded by bars and restaurants.
Downside of the quadruple is the access door to the room (the only one not yet changed while the others all have brand new doors) that did not close well and in the shower was missing a part of the shower glass that, despite being large enough, did not allow you to close entirely inside. I think little by little they will try extraordinary maintenance even in the quadruple. The bathroom, sotato.anche of hair dryer, is devoid of a support bese. Exceptional hosts, average rooms.

Don't expect service and cleanest as a 3+ hotel.

Owner is not reading cancellations and afterwards tells, that cancelation was to late.
We booked this room directly on their booking side. A couple of minutes later, we realized, that there is an additional discount on a hotel booking site with a larger room and a cheaper price (owners price + sales discount paid by the hotel booking site).
So we booked there, and canceled the first booking immediately by email (as this was the only option). There was no response, so we wrote the cancelation email twice.
After a while, half of the price were credited on our credit card. We immediately complained by email - and SMS. By SMS the owner responded (for the first time), that the cancelation is to late. I need to cancel the other (cheaper) booking. After long discussions, he told, that he will pay the difference, when I cancel the other one. Finally I did.
Onsite, he just wanted to pay parts of the difference (not the sales discount which we would have received), not the full amount. Also he was getting impolite in the discussion (still all in SMS, not responding to any email). He was not confessing his error (in not reading emails and accepting the cancelation on time).
So, we had a smaller room and a higher price. :-(
Btw: there was no buffet (as shown on the pictures), but coupons for a cafe close-by
To summarize: we had a bad experience with the owner, even if the apartment was ok. Therefore, personally, I can not recommend the apartment.
