Great few days in Naples!

Room was clean, comfortable
Breakfast was good. Just what we liked.
Paolo and Patrizia were wonderful. Pleasant, available.,Paolo gave us great advice for restaurants, set us up for a day trip to Ischia with a guide Christian. The metro and funicular are close by for transportation all over Naples. The Vomero section is great to be away from the craziness down lower in Naples, but it has its own crazy vibe with stores, restaurants, apertivio places and above all its quiet and relaxing. We parked close by in a parking garage they have a deal with. Although driving in Naples is wild, this place is so convienient to access anywhere is Naples. Enjoy your stay, we did!

A jewel in the Neapolitan jungle

The hotel is conveniently situated a few minutes from metro and funicular stations in Vomero high above the craziness of central Naples.
Its hosts, Paolo and Patrizia and their staff are welcoming and charming and happy to give advice on getting around.
The junior suite was nicely furnished. Not a lot of space to move around the large bed but that's a detail.
A simple but sufficient breakfast was available each morning in a lovely breakfast room with some amazing Neapolitan Presepe (nativity scenes) hand made by Paolo and his grandfather.
All in all, a lovely place to which we'd return.
Vomera is a great location to stay. Plenty to see with Castel St Elmo and the amazing Certosa e Museo di St Martino. And some nice restaurants and bars and shops.
Top tip for visiting Castel St Elmo. After buying your ticket, unless you really enjoy hiking up several ramps to the top, ask for directions to the elevator (ascensore) that takes you up to the castle esplanade where you have the 360 degree views of Naples and beyond.

Wonderful stay and trip

We stayed at the Pompeii suite for six nights, and had an excellent trip. Vomero is a lovely area, well connected to the centre by Metro or funicular (3 stops). Relaxing area, with good food - guided by recommendations from Paolo of where to eat and what to do. Weekend a Napoli is excellent - good breakfast, spotless room, well equipped and superb hosting.
Thank you, Paolo, Patrizia and team for making our trip to Naples so memorable.

Napoli

What a wonderful place to stay. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make your stay comfortable. They even supplied metro tickets for us and had a car waiting for us at the airport. Great people!

We felt at home at Weekend a Napoli

Paolo and Patrizia were fantastic hosts for our stay at Weekend a Napoli. They were very knowledgeable about things to do in Naples and the surrounding area. Paolo offered to arrange any tour guides we might need to visit Pompeii, etc. Their B and B is absolutely charming in a very old building which still has its charm, as well as modern conveniences. Comfortable bed, very nice bathroom, minibar, and even one of Paolo’s handmade nativity scenes in our room! The breakfast was in a lovely room and I had the feeling of staying in the home of a relative. They felt like family. JR helped us with luggage and breakfast and was very sweet. They also had subway tickets available for purchase, which saved us the trouble of having to get one on our own. They made reservations for us at local restaurants which were fabulous, some of our best food so far. I also loved the location of Weekend a Napoli as it is in a part of the city away from the hub-bub of the Old City. We will definitely stay there again upon our return to Naples. We had a lovely time and regard Paolo and Patrizia as friends.
