Short stay in Milan
Spent a night here in late May as part of a four-day trip to Italy. We had flown into Malpensa Airport and had taken the train, planning to then walk from Milano Centrale to the hotel. The train was unfortunately running late and finished earlier at Porto Garibaldi station- this was a 20 minute walk to the hotel, and as it was a pleasant evening we decided to walk the final distance.
Once we arrived we were checked in quickly and given the card key to our room. We were located on the third floor with a view out on to an internal courtyard in the hotel. We were told at reception that we were being an upgraded room, and it certainly felt like it had recently been refurbished. It was a small room, but had a good size bed and sufficient storage space. There was a fridge provided but no tea or coffee making facilities, and a safe which we did not make use of.
There was also a large wide screen TV with a wide range of local and international channels, including BBC One from the UK which surprised us. The bathroom was also compact but had a good quality shower and ample storage space for toiletries. Wi-Fi was provided, but for some reason it would not recognise the surname and room number combination needed to log in- we went to reception to resolve this, and they straight away gave us a code for 24-hour access.
The hotel has a restaurant, but we instead ate out for dinner. There are a lot of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and this is quite a buzzy part of Milan. Upon returning to our room from dinner there was some noise from the internal courtyard as other guests were having drinks, but by midnight this had quietened down and we both slept well.
The next morning we chose not to have breakfast in the hotel (available for 14 Euros per person) and instead decided to find somewhere near the Duomo. It was very easy to get there on the historic Tram Line 1, which has a stop very close to the hotel on Viale Tunisia. We returned a few hours later and checked out for the next part of our trip.
We found the hotel a very convenient place for a night's stay in Milan, and though the room was on the small size it was fine for the short time we stayed there.

Not a fancy resort, but clean, central and surrounded by dining opportunities
My first return to Milan since 2005, and first time for daughter. This hotel was exactly what we wanted and needed. Clean, practical, nice bar, simple restaurant food. Nightly happy hour we did not miss. Room was basic and clean, good water pressure, and enough room for us to spread out a little. Very reasonably priced, we were really off season First week of January.
My agenda was to visit the Duomo, and look for the discount shop in that square that had men's close 20 years ago- Gone. :"(
We walked on the roof with the statues in the rain. Spun our heels on Torito. (always so funny how many people are wierd about that). The second day visited Leonardo's Science Museum, very interesting, and a cute cat. Daughter's day for itinerary. Saw a swap meet on train tracks going home. Also visited the Basicilica of St. Ambrose! Really really old, like 200ACE. Last day was shopping Corso Buenos Aires where the affordable shops are, Since it was Jan. 6, everything was Saldi!! There are many restaurants a very short (5 min) walk from this hotel worth visiting, we enjoyed Ristorante Shangri-La, traditional asian restaurant, had Chinese, Thai, Sushi, something for everyone. Up the street there were a number of small Osterias we found Osteria Italiano we liked and went back two times.
The staff at the ibis was really wonderful, great service like 4.5 stars. It was drizzling a bit and they had an umbrella rental. Our visit was 4 days, 3 nights, and this was a perfect place to be. Very close to the central station to make a train in the morning.
If you are looking for a hotel with spa, many amenities, not go anywhere else, this is not it, but if you want a clean room, shower and nice bed, so you can leave on your own tours, refreshed, this is great.

Good location for visiting Milan
Hotel absolutely adequate for its category, with small rooms equipped with the necessary comforts. Courteous and professional staff, good quality common areas, and a suitable location for visiting Milan. Good value for money. The Wi-Fi and the electrical system need improvement, with few outlets available and in inconvenient locations.

What do you expect from an Ibis? This is no different from all the others I have frequented.
Room 407 from July 7 to 8, 26. Standard room with 2 single beds, just the right size, as is the bathroom. Excellent cleanliness. Large-sized television. Bathroom equally spacious, well-equipped with towels and good quality linens. Good soundproofing. Restaurant on the ground floor where breakfast is also served. Kindness and efficiency from the staff. Great business hotel. If you want a charming hotel, look elsewhere.

Just okay
Depends what sort of stay your here for.. was here for a city break travelling out from the station regularly.
Location isn’t too far from the station but I wouldn’t want to walk it alone at night as it’s a quiet area. To get to the centre it’s about a 25 min walk or a couple of stops on the metro.
Food places nearby it had a few options.
Rooms were a bit dated and very basic.
Not sure if I was expecting it to feel a slightly more refreshed.
Minor details like no bin in the room, tv channels weren’t working, window blind was all tatty. Just a bit of attention to detail would go a long way. No plug next to the bed. And only one wall socket over by the window.
Lobby area is nice and modern with A/C.
Breakfast just about okay, basic hot items and basic pastry / bread. Coffee machine and proscecco.
Not sure if I would stay here again depending on the type of visit.
