Sleeping in Milan

Hotel very well located, near the Duomo. Very spacious room although it is not very modern. Toiletries in the room. Missing a plug by the bed for the cell phone. Breakfast was good. General restrooms a bit run-down. Missing paper and soap. Very friendly reception

4-star hotel with great potential

Hotel Galileo enjoys an excellent location, just a few steps from the Duomo, which makes it a very convenient choice for exploring the city on foot and making the most of your stay.
We stayed in a very spacious triple room, consisting of two separate rooms, a very positive aspect for comfort and privacy. Beds and pillows are comfortable, ensuring a good rest.
The bathroom is large, renovated and well-equipped, with great amenities, including oral hygiene kits, slippers and shower caps, details that are appreciable for a hotel in this category. However, the shower has low water pressure, which could be improved.
Despite the positive aspects, the interior of the room clearly needs a renovation. The furniture is dated, the walls have cracks, and the wallpaper is stained and peeling off in different areas, as visible in the attached photos. Televisions are also very small and obsolete, not in line with a modern standard.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always attentive and ready to help, contributing positively to the overall experience.
The breakfast is good and varied, with a wide choice of bread, pastries, fruit, coffee and tea, catering for different tastes. Also noteworthy is the excellent, stable and fast Internet connection.
In summary, this is a 4-star hotel with great potential, thanks to its location, general comfort and service, but which needs modernization in the interior of the rooms to fully live up to its category.

Good breakfast! The roof in the room should be nicer with new paint. One of the wall sockets was totalt loose. Not nice for families who stays with children.

Terrible Stay away

Couple and utter dump 1 star is far too much. Don’t go. In addition they extort you for some city tax they don’t include in the online price.

It surprised us!!

We went with some distrust due to the comments we read, but it really surprised us positively; it is an old hotel but very well maintained, the bed is very comfortable, the only thing that could be improved is that it has carpet, but it is in very good condition. The breakfast is very complete and varied, with complimentary coffee during the day. The staff is very friendly. The location is unbeatable, literally behind the Duomo and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. I would return without hesitation again!!
