Hotel at the castle

We stayed at this hotel on the day of the Immaculate Conception for a tour of Milan. The hotel is in a historic building and in an excellent location and the rooms are in good condition. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again

Professional stay salon host

Excellent quality price. Hotel 2 steps from the metro. Ideally located. Lots of restaurants and cafes around. Well soundproofed accommodation, very nice bedding, courtesy kit. Clean room tastefully decorated. Thank you Debora for her welcome, available and discreet, as well as local recommendations.

Ideal for short trips

The Hotel The Couper Castello in Milan is centrally located, yet the rooms are quiet (access via courtyard), quite spectacular wallpaper – at least in the booked room (see photo). Various shops and restaurants nearby.

Terrible

Terrible Experience at Couper Castello Hotel – I stayed at Couper Castello Hotel in Milan recently, and it was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. To start with, they don’t even have a proper front desk. If you have any issues or questions, good luck trying to get someone to respond. I had several complaints during my stay, and none of them were addressed. It’s as if they simply don’t care about their guests. One of the most frustrating things was the hot water situation. You would think a basic necessity like a hot shower would be guaranteed, but no! The hot water is completely inconsistent. Some days, you have to wait forever, and even then, it’s more a matter of luck than anything else if you actually get a warm shower. It’s beyond unacceptable, especially considering the price. Additionally, the hotel has no proper staff or space to store your luggage. If you arrive early or need to check out late, don’t expect them to help you out. There’s literally no one around to assist, and there’s no space for storing bags, which makes it extremely inconvenient for travelers. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay away if you want a comfortable and hassle-free experience in Milan!

More of an upmarket Airbnb than a hotel - great for a short stay

We were bumped off our flight so need a place to stay for one night. We had stayed at the Couper St Andrea and it was fine for a night and reasonable price so we chose this sister "hotel".
It's directly across the road from the castle which is great for sightseeing but like the other hotel it's in an apartment complex and is more like a fancy airbnb. We knew what to expect so it wasn't an issue.
We were lucky to have a very nice gentleman come down when we arrived who dragged our heavy bags up a few flights of stairs as you cannot use the residential lift.
We were checked in and told if we arrive late at night we need to call him to let us in to the building - not ideal for single female travellers.
The room was nicely decorated, great bed and bedding and very clean, again we got a steamer instead of an iron. Same deal with coffee maker in the room but no milk.
It was very hard keeping any of our adapters in the powerpoints and there was no hairdyer in this one - lucky I always take my travel one.
It was a nice room, good price and great location. Would return if needed a quick one nighter in Milan.
