You must call the owner for instructions before arrival. Otherwise the room is great value for the price

Once past entrance it’s fantastic

Scary entrance way, clean modern room. The sink kept getting blocked but other than that it was lovely safe and AMAZING location to docks, centre and shops

Terrible service from the staff. Regrettable experience.

To begin with, terrible service from the staff. When we arrived in the afternoon, the narrow elevator was not working, so my wife stayed downstairs waiting with the heavy luggage while I went up the stairs to the second floor of the B&B (technically the third floor counting the ground floor). There, I explained to a person named Giovanni that the elevator was broken, and he simply did not care about the problem because he was only interested in leaving quickly. Later, my wife explained to me that the aforementioned Giovanni, when he passed by her while she was with the heavy luggage on the ground floor, did not even bother to look at her, let alone greet her, as he was only concerned with talking on a cell phone before opening the outer gate and leaving in a hurry.
Now, the person in charge of breakfast the next morning was also very unfriendly, as he barely responded when one asked him questions. And he didn't even say goodbye when I told him goodbye while handing over the keys at checkout.
Speaking of breakfast, the dining room was very small and there was absolutely nothing savory to serve (and the sweet options were very limited).
As for the room, this was where we encountered the only truly hard bed during our entire trip through Europe. Additionally, it was the only hotel we stayed at that did not have an electric kettle, which is a vital appliance for any guest. In the bathroom, there was a raised area on the floor, which, without any warning signs, was easy to trip over. Fortunately, my wife and I did not end up injured.
In summary, a very bad experience at this accommodation. As to never repeat it again.

Good room, ample space for luggage and extra storage options. Shower option to change from rain head to hand held was broken and screen glass small, so water goes onto floor. Room clean, bed ok, easy check in, Lovely cleaning staff greeted us. Close to station , port and some restaurants.

B&B NOT RECOMMENDED

Very disappointing! No one on arrival, everything happens by phone in Italian or Sicilian English. Very low-end breakfast and unpleasant staff.
I don't recommend it.
