Beautiful place to stay in an amazing historic town

Arrived by train from Pisa - only about 20 minutes and £4 each - booked via Trainline.com - really easy to do.
The walk to the accommodation took around 25 mins and you have to go up a couple of flights of stairs over the old city wall - so be prepared! We did see cabs at the station so looked like that was an option.
Accommodation was lovely - the hosts were lovely. Room was very clean and comfortable with a great shower. We sat on the communal terrace for an hour in the afternoon which was nice.
Excellent breakfast; fresh fruit, yoghurt, boiled eggs, fresh bread, cereals & pastries.
Lucca is a beautiful historic walled city. Highly recommend the 4k walk around the city on the walls - we also hired a bike and did a couple of laps before lunch.

Beautiful Comfort

Great place to stay. The hosts are lovely, and the room is both beautiful and comfortable. There are so many pretty details in this appartment! I was happy to find a fridge with cold water and aircondition too, as we stayed during superhot days in July. We got usefull advice on places to visit around the city and the aerea around, and can recommend a stay here any time.

Lucca for 3 nights

Booked without realising that this guesthouse was in the heart of Lucca. Amazing stay. Despite a central location the accommodation was quiet and serene. Excellent air con, bed, bed linen and shower. All you could want! The hosts were helpful without being intrusive - Monti helped me with a pedicure booking on our first morning which was excellent. Great tips on wine bars. Fantastic coffee in the morning. Lovely terrace. If we stayed in Lucca again we would stay here.

Excellent bed and breakfast

Bed end breakfast in the center of Lucca, in a historic building with many stairs, very clean rooms with perfect furnishings, new bathroom with large shower, I would put a coat hanger in the rooms, very kind owner as well as his wife, good breakfast served on the terrace
