Great stay

Had a lovely stay here. Super friendly welcome and service from the owner in this family-run hotel. It's got a lovely traditional Italian vibe and the room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very enjoyable too and excellent value. It's easily walkable from the train station and very near to one of the gates into the old town. There's also a handy Lidl very near to pick up a few essentials - like water and wine!
Very happy to recommend.

Simple and clean.

Do not expect modern environments and luxury finishes, the rooms are very simple and very clean. Very kind owners. Convenient internal parking. We will gladly return.

Treated Like Family

Quaint family run establishment since 1921. Ten minute walk to Porta Elisa. Great pizza up the block. Great gelato a block away. Supermarket a block away (wine).
There is a great breakfast. A bar for a night cap after a long day of walking Lucca or driving to the beach or the mountains.
The family running it couldn’t do enough for us. The spear good English and I heard Giovanni speak fluent French. The rental car co. Gave me a bigger car than I booked. I couldn’t get into the parkade so they gave their parking. Amazing.
My sister lives close by so I will stay here again.

I recommend it

I spent four nights in this hotel for the Easter weekend and I was very well. Although it's a bit vintage in terms of amenities, it has nothing to envy to other more modern hotels. Nice room, fast internet, very hot shower, cleanliness, but above all I would highlight the free parking and the location very close to Porta Elisa and the city center. Very kind owners. I recommend it

Hotel a stone's throw from the walls and with private parking, ideal location
Very friendly and helpful staff also for very useful directions
Breakfast should be done here being plentiful and good, clean rooms and the right size
Lucca is worth a trip and this is the right place to stay!
