We checked in late at night after fleeing another property due to an unpleasant experience regarding cleanliness and hygiene. Arriving here, we found exactly what we needed: professionalism, courtesy, and above all, a lot of humanity.
A special thanks to the entire staff, a young, smiling, and very helpful team, who welcomed us with great kindness and knew how to meet our every need, making us feel truly pampered. It is not at all common to find people like this, and never like this time did we realize it.
The property is enchanting: spacious and well-kept rooms, a pool, and a splendid beach. But what really makes the difference are the people who work there, who with passion and smiles transformed an evening that started in the worst way into a beautiful stay.
If you come to Vulcano, this is truly the place that we can recommend with our eyes closed. Compliments to the whole team and heartfelt thanks!

Just from the name you can guess the beauty
Spent 4 days from Tuesday to Friday, a pleasantly quiet period.
Property with a perfect location directly on the Sabbie Nere beach and a 10-minute walk from the port area.
Breakfast well served with a buffet for various tastes and habits.
Clean rooms and very kind staff.

Total relaxation!
For the fourth consecutive year, we spent a week of vacation at this welcoming and relaxing property, well taken care of, cat included, and satisfied with every one of our needs. As usual, we appreciated the excellent breakfast, which was even more abundant this year. We appreciated the location of the included beach club, which overlooks a unique landscape, especially at sunset. We are not big fans of the pool (after all, with a sea like that...), but there is one too. The terrace for the twilight aperitif is excellent. But above all, we appreciated the availability and courtesy of all the staff, starting with the Manager, the girls at the reception, the guys at breakfast and the bar, the housekeeping staff (Musa in particular, who was punctual in prioritizing the tidying up of the room where we then had to leave the cat and for whom he always left us an extra shower mat), not forgetting, in our praise, the lifeguards as well. One cannot imagine a summer that does not include a period of relaxation at the Hotel Les Sables Noirs & Spa in Vulcano. Until next time!

The Hotel Les Sables Noirs is a truly unique location, immersed in a natural setting of extraordinary beauty. The contrast between the volcanic black of the beach, the intense blue of the sea, and the profile of the Aeolian Islands creates a simply magical atmosphere. The location is unparalleled: directly overlooking the famous black beach of Vulcano and a few steps from the center, it allows you to fully experience the authentic essence of the island.
We particularly appreciated the rich buffet breakfast, with a wide selection of fresh, quality products, perfect for starting the day with taste and relaxation.
The pool is also splendid, an oasis of tranquility perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape, ideal for relaxing between the blue of the sea and the unique colors of the island.
A special round of applause goes to the entire staff, always smiling, professional, and helpful. Their attention to detail and natural friendliness made us feel welcomed and pampered throughout our stay.
The aperitif on the terrace with a view of the magnificent Faraglioni was unforgettable: the sunset, accompanied by a pleasant DJ set and cocktails inspired by the flavors and typical products of the area, made every evening a unique and evocative experience.

Friendly, Efficient, Excellent
Before booking, I read the reviews posted by other guests. All say pretty much the same thing… that the staff are amazing. They are correct. The team here; from the cleaners, the lifeguards, the lads at breakfast and the roof top bar are hands down the best, friendliest and most helpful and accommodating bunch ever. From the Receptionist, Teresa who is just lovely, and at the spa, Leila and Fillipo super helpful and absolutely lovely - they recommended restaurants and went above and beyond to make our stay the best. The pool, the spa, the roof terrace for sunset & Margaritas and the private beach (with towels) -perfect. We hired electric bikes by the hour, from the hotel, which were great for little trips to town, supermarket runs and for a small schlep up-hill to the winery, where we had anti-pasti, did some wine tasting; jazz playing with stunning panoramas of the volcanos and the sea with bougainvillea blooming all around. Sables Noir - Thank you guys. A great place to be, you made us so welcome.
