Come for the location, stay for the service

We stayed for 3 nights towards the end of September. The room was lovely - double room with a connecting kitchenette so it felt spacious. Decent air conditioning which was welcome!
Location is excellent although late at night it is possible to hear people in nearby streets. That didn’t bother us.
Gorgeous terrace with a great jacuzzi pool which was lovely to cool off in.
Breakfast was nice and generous. Some different items each day.
Above all though there service was fantastic! A big thank you to Stefano who looked after us so well at breakfast. He remembered our coffee orders each day. A huge thank you to the housekeeper and Tiziana who found something we left behind and rang us immediately. We were in an awful tizzy trying to work out how to get it before we got our train but Tiziana really helped us in our stressed state and met my partner at the end of the street. We can’t thank her enough! I would highly recommend this gem of a place.

Fine to pay for their ztl license plate error

I stayed on October 14, 2024 with family. I received on 3.1.2025 a fine for accessing ZTL without authorization. But they had to give my license plate to the city police, but they told me, by phone, that they had a wrong license plate number. I asked them and Xihotel to which they belong, for an assumption of responsibility for their mistake, but in vain
The fact is that they only gave me evasive answers with nothing in writing stating their mistake.
I'm still waiting ... but I know it ends that for their mistake I have to pay the fine of 102 euros
Assumed lack of seriousness of Dimore Briganti and Xihotel. I absolutely advise against, bad experience

What a beautiful terrace!

I spent a very pleasant evening drinking excellent cocktails and nibbling on various appetizers. The live music livened up the environment in an engaging way. The location is truly beautiful: a terrace that towers over the old city, tastefully furnished and managed with order and professionalism by the staff.

Terrace Wow

Historic building with many friezes and vaults that recall what it was in the past! I used the terrace in the evening to enjoy the wonderful view, all accompanied by a mixed platter and raw seafood.
I recommend going there at sunset as the view is breathtaking!
Applause to the trained and competent staff.
To return.

Lovely staff and cool building

Spent one night here after a bad experience at another hotel. We were lucky to find this place, as the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was large and the upstairs terrace and pool were great for an afternoon break.
When we come back to Gallipoli we’ll stay here again for sure.
