Unpretentious hotel with exquisite kindness
Hotel not recently renovated, the owner and staff very kind. Cleanliness good, bed slightly hard but fine. Hotel suitable for a short stay.

Rudeness and dirt
I noticed that I was not the only one who had a bad experience at this hotel.
As you can see from those who have been there and the way the staff respond to reviews, they are unprecedented rude, especially if you point out shortcomings in their Service.
I strongly advise against staying in this hotel unless you want to find dirt, rudeness, poorly functioning toilet flush, showers that make water everywhere.
I also point out that the site says that there is in every room or in some rooms the armchair, which is not present in mine, I add that there are other incorrect information.
I recommend to those who decide to stay in this place, to check the cleanliness of the services offered.

prima di tutto una precisazione: Lei dichiara di aver soggiornato da noi ad Agosto, cosa impossibile in quanto in quel mese il nostro Hotel è occupato esclusivamente da gruppi Americani e Australiani che riempiono tutte le camere. Non ci sono – né ci possono essere – prenotazioni individuali. Questo basterebbe già a smentire la Sua presunta esperienza.
In secondo luogo, Lei ha aperto un account appositamente per scrivere un’unica recensione negativa. È una dinamica tipica di chi agisce in malafede: non certo di chi racconta un’esperienza reale.
Troviamo poi singolare che Lei ci inviti a non rispondere, accusandoci preventivamente di “negare l’evidenza”. Chi scrive una recensione deve invece avere la correttezza di accettare il contraddittorio: noi rispondiamo sempre con nome e cognome, con onestà e veridicità, mentre Lei si nasconde dietro a un nickname inventato. Questo non si chiama libertà di espressione: si chiama mancanza di lealtà intellettuale.
Quanto ai contenuti, parlare di “sporcizia e maleducazione” senza alcuna prova concreta né riscontro verificabile è molto semplice quando non si è mai stati nostri ospiti. È altrettanto semplice inventare dettagli su poltrone o scarichi che non funzionano

A ulteriore testimonianza della falsità del Suo racconto, rilanciamo: se ci invierà la reale ricevuta fiscale e copia della prenotazione comprovante il Suo improbabile soggiorno ad Agosto a nome Gianfranco , Le rimborseremo 10 volte quanto da Lei ….“pagato”. Una promessa che possiamo fare con assoluta serenità, perché sappiamo che tale documentazione non esiste.
In conclusione, Le ricordiamo che la credibilità non si conquista con un nickname e accuse inventate, ma con fatti reali e con la trasparenza di chi firma ciò che dice. Noi lo facciamo sempre.

Cool ancient building
Neat old hotel. Lots of stairs and elevator is really small. Owner lives there, very nice.
Towels were not your normal ones as they looked like plain cloth but they worked really well. Neighborhood not great but typical for the city in general. It worked for us.

Weekend in Florence
3 star hotel, but comparable to a 2 star hotel. The structure is dated. The bathroom is to be restored (the exhaust is noisy and does not start immediately, the intake fan the same, The toilets are dated). Towels are very thin and toiletries scarce. Good location and kind owner. Heating is intermittent and in the morning off.

Ringraziamo per il Suo recente soggiorno e con l'occasione Le confermiamo che sia i nostri bagni che le nostre camere "datate" ... 2020 !!! offrono la possibilità, a tutti i ns/ Ospiti, di regolare in piena autonomia la temperatura dei termosifoni agendo sulla valvola termostatica di ciascuno di essi per ottenere la tempeatura desiderata durante tutta la notte ed il giorno che comunque, non è mai al di sotto dei 22° !!!
Un operazione talmente semplice per la quale non pensavamo di doverLe fornire informazione di utilizzo considerato che per il periodo di permanenza avete mantenuto la valvola in posizione 1 su una scala da 1 a 5. Saluti

Would not recommend
The room was according to expectations but the bathroom absolutely inadequate to a 3 star hotel (small, with broken toilets and a very dirty and moldy reject box).
Breakfast is not included and at a cost of 8 euros they do not even give you a fresh brioche, all packaged.
