The good: Fiesole is a tranquil little town and an easy 15 minute bus ride into downtown Florence. We saw many hikers and cyclists passing through.
The bad: the hotel is dingy and charmless. It advertises views of the Tuscan countryside but these are a sliver at best. Our room had a moldy shower, stained curtain, and repainted second hand furniture. The front desk is not manned 24/7. The breakfast is so-so. In short, if you want to avoid the pricier hotels in town, or access to local hiking trails, this is a good option, otherwise be prepared to be somewhat depressed by your rooms.

Professionalism and courtesy in a family atmosphere

I had a great time at Villa Bonelli. They were kind and professional from the first phone contact. They met my needs, greatly facilitating my short stay in Fiesole, and for that I thank them again. Very nice lady who served me a delicious cake for breakfast. If I am lucky enough to return to Fiesole, I will definitely choose this hotel!
