Two-star hotel, not three!

A hotel that presents itself as very basic, with neglected rooms (there was a smell of mothballs), and superficial cleaning. They claim to be a three-star hotel, but I would take away one star; two stars is a fair classification. Positive note: the breakfast is very abundant and varied.

Terrible experience.

A truly awful stay that I do not recommend to anyone. Despite the reservation for a double room, they gave us a room with a bed for one and a half people where it was impossible to rest well. The environment was shabby and poorly maintained both in details and cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, which was in unacceptable condition. Even the breakfast was disappointing because the gluten-free products were placed in a basket without any clear indication of the brand or origin, creating only confusion. The room also lacked a minibar, so we could not keep even a bottle of water cool and were forced to go down to the vending machine or bring it from home. A truly neglected and unprofessional establishment.

THE HOTEL FALLS APART

As soon as I entered the room I found dirt, from the bathroom to the bedroom.
The bathroom is unusable, the shower is small, dirty and barely opens and closes.
The towel rack was broken and cracked as soon as I tried to get a towel.
The food served for breakfast is good but frozen and taken from the supermarket.
Saying that the restaurant is discreet is a gift since the dishes are either shambolic or too salty.
I hope no one makes the same mistake I did choosing this hotel.

I do not recommend the experience

If there is an earthquake and it still holds, it is because Our Lady wants to.
If I did the hotel it came out better.
The only thing “acceptable” is breakfast with the still frozen croissants of the supermarket.
Not only Turin makes you feel depressed even the hotel.
The walls are so thin, I couldn't tell where they were knocking.
The bed board breaks through as soon as you sit down.

Not what we expected... and too hot in the room

We booked the deluxe room. No pictures of the bathroom for this type of room which apparently was the same not renovated bathroom as for the standaard rooms. The room itself was a bit more modern (different floor and wall paper), that was nice. But, unfortunately there were a lot of other disappointing things... There is one sofa that has a big stain on it, the lightning in the room is very poor and the walls are very thin. The room is very hot because the heating is constantly on, although they said that it would turn off at 10 pm (it never did, it only turned off somewhere in the night). We had to sleep with the windows open, which is bad for the environment. The shower is a bath/shower. The shower spray was good but tall people don't fit under it. The bathroom is also quiet wet when you finished your shower. The shower spray is not properly placed behind the 'screen' that has to prevent that from happening. After one night the cleaning suff had made the bed again and put new towels. Als we were stayng here for more than 1 night, we didn't want unnessesairy water get spoiled and we also wanted to be at ease, so we asked the staff to not clean the room. The next day aigain the towels were new and the bed was made. The young lady of the reception apologised. She said that she was too late to tell the cleaning staff and therefore everything already has been done. But yet, again, the next day, same scenario... I was also very unhappy to notice that the last night of our stay all my personal belongings (including my dirty laundry) were organised in different piles! I don't like people touching my stuff... But the main problem was the heating. I reported it to this helpful lady of the staff. She informed for us and came back to us with the news that the heating is centralised, so unfortunately the problem didn't get solved during our stay. The breakfast was okay, it was a nice buffet. The only remark here is that they didn't seem to think about corona. No guidelines we're given. You didn't have to desinfect or wear gloves, which is not safe now. So no, I don't think we will be coming back here.
