A truly pleasant family vacation
We just stayed at this hotel for six nights and we liked it a lot. The location is excellent, on a quiet street but at the same time close to the partner beach, the pedestrian area, and the historic center of Porto Canale. Our room was always clean and equipped with all the necessary comforts. The owners and all the staff are very friendly and nice. The quality of the food is excellent, both for the meals served at the table and for those at the buffet, which is always rich and varied. We really appreciated the indoor and outdoor play area where we let our little girl play. We recommend it and will definitely return for our next stay in Cesenatico. We thank all the staff again for the wonderful experience you gave us... Well done and congratulations to everyone

Beautiful vacation spent in joy with good food and beautiful people, everything excellent, attentive and kind staff, clean and always tidy rooms, we are very satisfied, we will certainly return, animals are welcome and treated like real guests

Exceptional staff, but there is very little seafood from the Adriatic Sea and the Romagna tradition.
The hospitality at Hotel Sogno is impeccable: the owners and all the staff are of a rare kindness and helpfulness. I particularly appreciated the attention given to my personal dietary needs and the willingness to adapt dishes when possible. Unfortunately, my experience was very different regarding the cuisine. On the establishment's website, it states that "good cuisine comes from the sea," that "Adriatic fish is the essential ingredient on the menu," and that the ingredients are transformed into recipes "that speak of the territory." As a customer, I expected a proposal strongly tied to the Romagna maritime tradition and local products. In the menu, the daily dishes were actually limited to entirely generic descriptions (like a simple "fish" or "fillet"), without ever specifying the species or origin. When I requested clarifications, the dining staff could not provide immediate explanations, having to refer to the chef each time. To avoid having to ask every day, I delved into the matter: from the information gathered and feedback, a reality emerged based on a catering line with globally imported frozen products, where Adriatic fish is unfortunately a mirage. Specifically, I found the presence of raw materials completely foreign to our sea: Tilapia fillets (freshwater fish from Asian farms), Spinarolo shark, Patagonian squid, Cape cod (South African hake), North-eastern Atlantic mackerel fillet, Argentine shrimp tails, Pacific clams, fettuccine, and giant Pacific squid tentacles. Confirming this catering approach, which is far from "zero kilometer," I found that the frozen and industrial supply chain policy is not limited to fish but also extends to meats, contradicting the image of freshness, seasonality, and craftsmanship promised by the establishment. These are naturally products that are legitimately marketed and widespread in the restaurant industry, but I personally consider them inconsistent with the image of a cuisine deeply rooted in the Adriatic Sea and the culinary traditions of the territory. A type of proposal qualitatively far from the expectations created by the descriptions on the website. Even on the front of seasonings and pastries, the disappointment is evident for those seeking healthy cuisine. First and second courses show a consistent use of sunflower seed oil in the cooking bases. Credit is due to the breakfast, which is certainly abundant and varied in choice; however, in terms of quality, the cakes show a heavy use of margarine and butter, while the croissants – which come from a frozen industrial line – have a dough made with low-quality vegetable fats such as palm oil and coconut oil, without any real options prepared artisanally or with extra virgin olive oil. There remains a great regret for such a stark gap between the excellent human hospitality and a culinary offering that does not meet the expectations created by the presentation on the establishment's website. In conclusion, while the entire staff deserves the highest praise for their wonderful hospitality, the kitchen has proven to be a deep disappointment. The use of frozen products and preparations from industrial supply chains contradicts the promotional slogans of the hotel.

Only a strategic location.
The location is strategic. Lunch and dinner are served with a funnel; and for those with children, it is not ideal; you are still finishing the first course and the second arrives; there is an obligation to serve everyone at the same time; the dishes lack creativity; the same identical dessert has been proposed in different ways over the week; lemon is used everywhere.
