It was our second stay at this B&B and overall were very happy with our stay.
The rooms do need waste bins though

Everything was as featured in the pictures. Had all I needed for a one week business stay. Appreciated having my own mini fridge in the room, which was restocked with water, milk, and orange juice each day. Also liked the complimentary snacks, tea, and coffee.

We arrived at the Merlin rooms about 2:30 in the afternoon. After ringing the doorbell we were greeted by I lovely young lady. She escorted us to our room on the 2nd floor via a very antique but fully functional elevator. We enjoyed a great afternoon in Cagliari and the stay in our room was very nice other than it was very noidy. It is located opposite the side entrance of the Cagliari main railway station. The room was clean, comfortable and with air conditioning.
I would recommend Marlin Rooms to anybody wishing to stay in Cagliari or who have flights from the nearby Elmas Airport if they do not mind the noise from the traffic as Alas, the room we stayed in on the 2nd floor was on the Via Roma side of the building.
As the windows were not double glazed, the noise from the traffic did not make for a good nights sleep.
Sadly we for this reason only not stay again.

Nicely appointed rooms. Good service. Clean with snacks and soft drinks. But too noisy.

Our room was on the street side of Via Roma and it was so noisy as the room had no double glazing.
Everything else was good eg: The cleanliness of the room and the snacks and drinks provided.
But what it did not provide though included online was breakfast. The room rate does not provide breakfast in the rate.
Marlin Rooms is located directly opposite the Via Roma entrance and exit to Cagliari railway station and easy to get to the airport albeit, we took an early morning taxi.
Because of the excessive street noise, I would not sadly stay again as there are many other such nearby accommodations.

One night in a great B&B

I spent only one night in this B&B in the company of 7 other friends, but I must say that we all had a great time.
Central area near the station and a stone's throw from the center of Cagliari. We were greeted by Ting, a very kind and friendly girl, always smiling. Nice to the point that, needing a freezer to store medication, she offered to get me one and had it delivered to my room!!!
The rooms are a bit small but extremely clean and quiet. Very comfortable bed. Clean bathroom with a nice comfortable shower.
I really hope to have other opportunities to go back.
