Excellent experience for the whole family.

Our stay was excellent: the hotel is welcoming and has an important and interesting history. It is a pity that we did not know there was the possibility to take a tour to visit all the areas of the Corte village, even those not open to the public. Perhaps they should advertise it inside the hotel.
The staff is professional and kind; the kitchen, managed by the maître d' Paolo, runs very well and the food is varied and truly good. We also thank all the guys in the dining room; they always served us with a smile.
The reception helped us when our car gave us problems.
The rooms are clean and cozy, even if small. Our bathroom was new. The lobby is very, very beautiful.
The view is exceptional. It is important to have your own vehicle because the hotel is more than a 30-minute walk from Borca. The hotel rents e-bikes.

Hotel In the heart of the mountains,
I went there with bus, I was difficult to go to the hotel from the bus station.
I recommand more by car it is easier.
Staff / room and breakfast (large breakfast) were very nice

Hotel Boite was a little off the beaten path, but the views were 100% worth it!
I don't know if we just missed it, but we learned upon arrival that the spa wasn't connected to the hotel, so you had to drive a few minutes to it.
We also learned most of the amenities at the spa were nude only. That's not my preference, so we didn't get to enjoy the spa like I would have liked.
We decided to do a horseback riding tour which was so worth it! Christian (the guide) was incredible and took us all over the mountains.
It was worth it for two nights as we continued our journey through the dolomites!

Unfortunately wasn't a great stay. The spa doesn't open until 2pm so if you check in the evening before you can't use it which is the main reason we booked. On check-in the staff were quite rude but to be fair the staff on check out were nice. Hotel.com customer service were useless trying to resolve.

Closer to 2 star than 4

The hotel was reasonably priced however we were led to believe this was a 4 star hotel. Rooms are awful with poor quality furniture etc. Corridors with extremely tired walls and old carpet. Breakfast was dreadful and they water down all of their juices which is really bad. The food was arguably even worse with cold scrambled eggs not being replenished and all hot food was left with lids open and nothing underneath to heat the dishes and keep the food warm so everything was cold. Milk also tasted a bit strange. However more irritating than any of that was the fact that i booked spa access however when my booking confirmation came through it has general information saying “spa available - if spa access purchased”. Obviously this didn’t concern me as i knew i pressed the button for spa access when i booked and paid. When i checked in they said spa access was not included and i had to pay. A really bad experience overall. It is a shame as the bar area is ok and location of hotel is good. It has potential with the right investment.
