An excellent experience: authentic hospitality and an unbeatable price-quality ratio.
It is true, the property may appear slightly dated in its furnishings, but this contributes to creating a warm, authentic, and old-fashioned atmosphere. The kindness of the staff is absolutely in first place: you feel welcomed from the very first moment with a true family warmth.
Another indisputable strong point is the hygiene: the cleanliness is impeccable in all areas, truly impeccable.
I highly recommend it to those looking for substance, courtesy, and tranquility! We will definitely return, both for the great honesty of the prices and for the truly convenient location.

Disappointing experience, even before the stay
Subsequently, due to bad weather, we were forced to postpone the hike. Although we were aware that the reservation was non-refundable, we simply asked for the courtesy of being able to postpone it to a new date, as soon as we had rescheduled the excursion. This request was also rejected with an unhelpful and decidedly unwelcoming tone.
We understand that there are policies to follow, but the attitude toward the customer always makes the difference. If this is the welcome even before the stay, I dare not imagine what the experience might be like during the stay. Personally, I do not feel like recommending it.

Nightmare
Rooms so gloomy and cramped that they make the Addams Family look like a group of cheerful tour animators.
A ghostly silence interrupted only by sinister creaks and the sound of one's own remorse for having booked this property.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS “HOTEL”, it’s similar to fawlty towers
The first room we were offered had black mould behind the bedside lockers(found it because I was looking for a plug), blood or a brown stain on the wall, a carpet with many dark marks of dirty on it. I immediately requested something else, we were given a new room, which was less unacceptable though it had a similar stained carpet, a foul smell from the drains(we had to buy a bathroom fragrance and leave window open-in January!) the old springs in the beds made quite a racket. Our children were in the room above us, they had no stains on the carpet but a parquet wooden floor which creaked with the slightest touch-we could tell when they were awake. Breakfast(the reason I booked): the breakfast cappuccino in the bar was good for the first two midweek days, the food accompanying it was not pleasant, semi stale apricot croissants and stale breakfast cereal. Unfortunately breakfast moved to the “restaurant” at the weekend, the coffee machine was disgusting and appeared to have not been cleaned, white floating debris in your coffee is not a good sign! The remainder of the food was the same as midweek-bad! Go self catering it will be better (anything will be better!!) The rolled cigarette butt stayed on the fire alarm switch during our stay, no cleaning and suggests a dangerous disregard to guests safety. AVOID this place.
