pro-con-advice about basic decent hotel
PROS
* A standard hotel in a decent good location
* The rooms are nice and also decent and well-appointed rooms, with attention to fine small but important details
* The bed is incredibly comfortable with fantastic mattress
* There is an incredible outdoor infinity pool
* Apparently a decent competitive pricing compared to other large establish hotels in the immediate area
* The place is in close walking distance to tourist stuff and downtown and Old City and frequent at-least-every-minute bus from the front door
* A good lounging space in the lobby, with a modest bar
* The place has the enhanced "elegant" kosher supervision
CONS
* The food was unspectacular
* Parking in front of the entrance is narrow and confining and the parking underneath is limited and even worse
* The entrance is not off of the main Agron Street, as one would logically expect. One must walk up a very narrow one-person at a time little ramp and walkway, past the service entrance where the not fragrant food garbgae refuse is stored for eventual disposal to the rubbish collection lorry (not that I can figure out how the vehicle can access the refuse that accumulates there.
“I VISITED THIS PLACE”…
… for a second time- we had chosen a long weekend in Jerusalem as a getaway in 2024 and then chose to do so again. This hotel is a very good and reasonable choice- less expensive than others nearby.
It is more than basic, but not elaborate nor glitzy nor ostentatious; it is pleasant and very very nice. The room was quite good
The food was average and uncreative and done and presented without imagination.
WAS IT WORTH THE COST?
Yes- I do think so
WOULD “I VISIT THIS PLACE” AGAIN?
Sure- why not?

* Know that the food is unspectacular

Solid hotel in great, central W. Jerusalem location.
Stayed here for Shabbat weekend with family. Second time staying here.
Overall, was more than adequate. Clean rooms, good breakfast. It is expensive and not quite luxury, but it is well situated, clean, and reasonable accommodation. Will stay here again if needed.

Great location, spacious rooms and best breakfast buffet
This hotel is in a great location (15 minute walk to the Jaffa gate). We had a room with 2 queen beds (one of the only hotels in jerusalem we could find that offered that option) and it was very spacious. Definitely opt for the breakfast at the hotel as it is extensive with so many hot and cold options. Ali, who works in the dining room, was incredibly sweet and would bring everyone in the family their drink of choice the minute we sat down! Ali is a real gem. The lobby is huge and has a lot of activity. Only complaint is the parking lot is small and an odd layout making it hard for cars (and especially our guide's van) to get in and out. Certainly not a deal breaker. We enjoyed our time here.
