A unique desert experience
I came to the accomodation with my year level and stayed in the 10-person tent for 3 nights. The common area was an incredibly peaceful, rustic environment which included heating/AC, sofas, pillows and hammocks. Within the tent were power-points as well as an air conditioning unit. Facilities were very decent. Surprisingly had moderate WiFi throughout the property. As my stay was during winter, it got very cold at night (which is expected in the desert) and due to the lack of insulation inside the tent, it reached substantially low temperatures at night. Other than that, myself and my peers thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rash Hasita. I’ve personally never stayed, or even seen accomodation quite like this one, that being said I’d defined recommend to groups both small and large looking for an authentic, one-of-a-kind desert experience.

Quite, clean and welcoming place to stay in the Arava
We were three families in one “tent”/cabin and it was excellent.
All cabins and facilities are new and well taken care of. Great showers and dining area. (You better bring your own cookware).
The staff are welcoming, full of ideas and information and very helpful.
Located in a great spot for several tracks.
Will definitely come back.

We feel that the owner does not care about this place
We were three families for three days.
This is not really clean place.
The mattresses are very old.
The area is not sprayed against flies or traps so there are piles of flies everywhere.
Toilet and shower affordable but full of insects around the walls.
No dishes in the kitchen for cooking (Once was).
we do not go back there where not the same warmth and hospitality .

No-show
We booked a private room/tent for two for just one night at the Rash Hasita on booking.com. When we booked, there was supposedly only one room/tent left, so we felt quite lucky.
When we arrived at about 6 pm, we were greeted only by two dogs who seemed rather left to themselves. When asking a couple of field hands close by, we were told to look for the owners in the near village.
There, we were told by a lovely local couple, that they knew the owner and we should just return to the property and make ourselves at home while we were waiting for the owner to come. They even drove to the property with us and had a look themselves. But no sign of the owner.
So we looked around and found the property close to being abandoned. None of the electrical gear was plugged in, and several of the huts looked torn-down. There were signs of previous visitors, but it didn't seem like the property was prepared for new guests.
When night fell and there was still no sign of the owner, we decided not to risk staying and booked another hostel in Tel Aviv and drove there by car.
All in all not a very good experience for us. Though I'm not sure whether it was due to the Shabbat on the Saturday after and the Pessach feast on the same weekend.
In any case, the property didn't look like it was in use at the current moment, so I wouldn't recommend it.
We've also been charged for the night.

A desert rose
Quiet calm tranquil desert spot. Some says bringing Sianai close to the heart of Israel. With all you need for outdoor camping in desert alike.you can use the very large equipped kitchen, drink a tea or coffee from the tea spot and have a delicious local mdjhul dates as the home service. You can bike. Hike or drive into the Arava Wadies such as nekarot on 4x4
Great in September - April from weather side. The owners are warm and welcome. You can try to get a gym session on spinning or kapoera
