Best Honeymoon/Vacation Experience
We stayed at Sea Change Villas for our honeymoon on our first trip to Rarotonga, and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Our private beachfront villa was the perfect combination of privacy, comfort, and direct beach access.
We made full use of the amenities, including our private plunge pool, complimentary snorkeling gear, bicycles, kayaks, and paddleboards. One of the highlights was snorkeling right in front of our villa, where we saw two sea turtles on our own! The villa is located near the famous turtle dive area, and the reef is full of beautiful, colorful fish.
Our honeymoon package exceeded our expectations. It included airport pickup, a bottle of wine on arrival, breakfast provisions stocked in our refrigerator, and a complimentary breakfast served on a day of our choice. The breakfast platter was absolutely perfect and was such a wonderful way to start the day.
We also added the Aitutaki day trip, which was an unforgettable experience and well worth it.
We stayed for 11 nights, which gave us plenty of time to explore every part of Rarotonga while still enjoying relaxing days at the villa.
We would absolutely return and highly recommend Sea Change Villas to anyone visiting Rarotonga. In our opinion, it offers a much more private and peaceful experience than staying at the resorts located around the main lagoon area.

Stunning views that are hard to beat!
We recently stayed at Sea Change Villas in the Two Bedroom Deluxe Beachfront Villa with Pool during our trip to Rarotonga, and it was absolutely incredible. The location is prime, right on the water, and the interior of the villa is top end with a really nice finish. The panoramic views from every window and the sliding glass doors were stunning. Having our own private pool was wonderful too, though the water was a bit chilly while we were there.
Check in was easy, and they even had some welcome food waiting in the fridge, which was a nice touch. The location is also close to Wigmore’s store, so picking up any necessities was no problem. If you’re someone who wants the best views on the island, this place would be hard to beat.
A couple of small things to be aware of. Pulling out of the parking area onto the road is a little tricky since it’s kind of a blind corner, and the parking area itself is small. Minor stuff considering everything else you’re getting. Also, the second bedroom has its own outside entrance, so you need to step outside to a separate door to get to it. Each bedroom does have its own bathroom, which was great. The air conditioning worked great, though honestly we barely needed it.
We would absolutely stay here again if we’re ever back on this beautiful island.

Expectations met? No, they were exceeded.
We have been to Rarotonga several times and knew nothing about Sea Change Villas when we booked.
We had read many reviews about Sea Change before booking which were all good, so we were pinning our hopes on them being correct.
We were not disappointed. In fact, our expectations were exceeded beyond what we'd anticipated.
We had managed to secure the last remaining lagoon view villa for the school holiday period we were travelling in, and with our teenage son, it was perfect. He had his own separate area with ensuite. The set up in the villa was perfect for us and we could self cater, which we did. Steph was also kind enough to show us through one of the larger family villas at the rear of the resort, and what a perfect set up for families with younger children or large groups. Sea Change has a selection of accommodation suitable for most groups. The swimming in the lagoon was awesome and we saw turtles one day right in front of the resort.
The team there are fantastic and we cannot recommend this place enough.

Total Paradise
Total Paradise. We had 2 bedroom Lagoon View Villa. So clean, Yes the road was in front of our unit, but it made no difference. A beautiful garden separated us. We could see the sea and hear the waves.It was the best holiday we have had in years. Just across the road to the beach. Wonderful snorkelling. Kayaks, paddle boards, snorkels all provided. The beach was pretty much deserted. Steph could not of been more welcoming.As was all the staff. We definitely will be back again.

Idyllic setting and very comfortable.
Was an idyllic place to stay with incredible views. Very comfortable bed and lots of seating options indoor and out. Very friendly and helpful staff with good local knowledge. Was very private despite being right on the beach and had easy access. Kayaks and snorkelling gear was readily available. I appreciated having free use of the washing machine and made use of the clothes line at our villa. A big bonus was not hearing any roosters which was due to having the beach on one side and the road on the other. Will definitely be back.
