It totally served the purpose. Clean and tidy, friendly staff, and an excellent location. Not only just over the road from the beach, but a very popular restaurant was only a short walk away. We would go back again to Raina Holiday accommodation.

No internet facilities, should be better if there is good cleanliness.Outside light was not working.

The accommodation is dated and in need of maintenance. It is self catering, but not all the burners work on the stove and there was limited utensils to cook with. The room was large and the the location was great.

HORRIBLE

Emailed twice prior to arrival and got no response which was frustrating Accommodation was dirty and needs updating and the smell of gas was strong although host said it was malodour. I Don’t care it was a worry.
Don’t sit on the bed because it scoots across the floor
Ample room but 2nd bedroom bed was not made up so not useable even though you pay for it
When some concerns were raised with host she got very argumentative
Noise from apartment above was excessive due to wooden floors
Would not recommend this place to anyone especially as you pay your hard earned money for a well earned break not bad value
We left early

The simple life.

RECOMMEND - @Raina Holiday Accommodation. I stayed in the one-bedroom unit based in Titikaveka. Not the apartments. This place was nice to stay at. If you don't like to spend heaps on Accommodation, but you don't want to stay at backpackers. I stayed at this small 'Are O Raina' right amongst the locals which is private and had access to a secluded beach across the road. Essentially one large house that is split down the middle, the other side had a long-term resident which I did not see or hear during my stay. I'd definitely stay again ♥️

Sleeps: 1 single bed, 1 large double bed
✅ Private and basic - this is not a hotel or resort.
✅ Self-catered with kitchen.
✅ Large porch for relaxing.
✅ Beautiful mountain and garden views.
✅ Great online communication from host, although I never met or saw her during my stay.
✅ Airport pickup $25 (I arrived late at night, driver stopped at store for us to get food on the way and dropped me right outside the door of unit).
✅ Private bathroom.
✅ Beach access across road.
✅ Friendly resident cat .
✅ Insect screens over all windows and door.
✅ Complimentary milk, tea/coffee.
✅ Short walk to Woo Akapuao - convenience store for snacks, beverages, or basic supplies.
✅ Short walk to Charlie's Bar & Restaurant.
✅ 30min walk along road to Muri Night Market.
❌ Needs some maintenance - toilet seat wobbly, sliding door stiff and hard to open and close fully, insect screen door had no lock or handles.
❌ Incorrect name on door at arrival.
❌ Lots of barking dogs and crowing roosters, welcome to the Cook Islands.
❌ Early morning fitness classes in Enua Manea Hall across road - loud music.
❌ No wifi.
❌ No complimentary drinking water.
❌ No aircon, however ceiling fans and open windows provided sufficient airflow.
❌ Rooms serviced after 3rd night of stay, I didn't mind this.
