Having a complimentary cooked breakfast was a real bonus. We received such a warm welcome from our host, Serena. It was a great place to stay, just a few minutes walk from the airport.

Great location, walking distance from airport which is perfect for late check in, Excellent communication with thoughtful staff. Clean, spacious rooms and a nice pool with patio.

The hotel should be advertised as a bar with some rooms as opposed to a hotel with a bar. We were in a room that faced out directly into the hula bar (as most appear too) and all we could hear was the music playing until 11pm and it was as if you were in the middle of the nightclub- there was absolutely no chance of getting any sleep at all. Not suitable for children and none of this was noted in the hotel description at all. Then at 7am you’re woken up by the bass of the breakfast music. The curtains were so light we had all the lights of the club and even the sun so darker curtains are needed. We had no sleep and I would not at all recommend staying here. Also the pool is in the middle of the bar and eating area with everyone walking past so not overly appealing,

Positives and negatives:
+ Rooms actually are nicer than they look in the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised
+ Restaurant is really good quality, both staff and food were great
+ Aircon worked very well and room didn't seem to humid
+ Love these guys because they are kind to animals.
- No late checkout. It's advertised at a $50 cost, but when we told "Donni" that we wanted to check out at 1pm she said that we had to leave at 10am because someone else was going to stay in the room. The place was not fully booked, and so if check in is at 3pm is 2 hours not enough to clear a room?
- Tuesdays is Renovation day. If you are staying on a Tuesday, bring your earplugs. They were working on the rooms or the roof and it was all day with power tools. We knew about the partying until 10 and 11pm, but we were not counting on losing the nap.
