Nice spot, right on the beach which was great for swimming. You can snorkel down the ways. They have an onsite restaurant and bar and happy hour was super popular. The beds were very comfortable and parking was easy. It's a very laid back hotel and checked in at the Bar. nice place and would stay again.

A perfect escape—already booked our return!

What an amazing resort! We just spent 8 days here and couldn’t have been happier. Loretta is an absolute star—so warm, welcoming, and attentive—and the rest of the team were just as lovely. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The resort has everything you could possibly need: a fantastic bar and restaurant, a pool for guests, snorkeling equipment, kayaks, scooters, and rental cars—all right there on-site. It’s laid-back, friendly, and incredibly well run.
We felt so at home, we booked our next stay before we even checked out! Huge thanks to the team for a truly unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return!

Must stay!

My partner and I had an amazing stay here. The accomodation was great, awesome location directly on the beach. The staff at Aroa’s and shipwreck are so lovely and accomidating, the food/drinks were also delicious. Convenient location, bus stop right outside. Would reccomend to anyone considering to stay here, we will defiently be back. Thanks Loretta and team for being so accomodating, even for letting us hang around for the day after check out due to a late flight!

I had a great 7-day experience at Aroa Beachside Resort. My accommodation had a full-size fridge, cooking stove, microwave, front porch, and anything that one would need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was basic, but got the job done. The grounds are well-groomed and beach just wonderful. I walked it every day...quiet & peaceful. I like watching the lightning-fast Tropical Crabs, which are exclusive to the Cook Islands. Shipwreck Bar, overlooking the ocean, is a great place to have a drink and something to eat while watching the never-ending waves crashing onto the reef. The Fire/Dance Show, free to guests, is absolutely the best on the island. There's a convenience store just a short walk down the road or along the beach that has a lot to offer, including hand-dipped ice cream. Beside the store is Asian Delight restaurant, which has excellent food at a very favorable price. Oh, and if you like hiking, Raemaru Track trailhead is just down the road. I hiked it twice! All the around, you can't go wrong with Aroa Beachside Resort!
