Would recommend

Stayed here for a night recently and I would recommend it. Location is an ideal base for this area, Charlie is very helpful and informative. Our room was perfect- having A/C was great during the hot weather.

Nice Contemporaary Small Hotel

Pros:
Central location. Easy to walk to restaurants.
Nice Decor. Very contemporary.
Spacious bathroom
Clean
Lovely garden in back that backs up to the creek
Note: It's a hotel. No breakfast.
It is located directly across the street from the Launderette. Enter from the side ally.
Cons:
No one on site during our stay, although owner was very accessible by phone
On Main Street which is a busy street. Street side rooms can be noisy if windows are open.

To hot to handle

The Hotel was spotless as was my room. Large double bed and also single bed. Nice little touch by the owner to leave biscuits with both tea and a coffee machine. Shower was perfect as was the bathroom.
Now for the negative and there was only one. The heat in the room was nearly overbearing because of two problems. 1 the window wouldn't open more than an inch or two.2 the air con made a noise as if it was working but no cold air was coming through it. I finally got to sleep about 3am when the room cooled down slightly but overall it was a disaster. It really was a pity because everything else was perfect. Would i stay there again .......definitely not in the summertime

A great location. As it is a lodge, it’s a room and bathroom. It’s clean, comfortable and up-to-date and attractive.
