Fabulous!
I wasn’t sure what to expect based on some reviews.
Ignore every negative thing you’ve read.
The hotel is just lovely. The grounds are gorgeous. The views spectacular. The people that work here could not be more charming . Even the house cat, is beyond adorable.
We had a suite that was terrific . Bed was great, bathroom was amazing, real fireplace. Enjoyed having a fire each night at bedtime. We’d come back in a heartbeat.
It’s a Relais Chateaux property.

Gorgeous comfortable hotel
Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The food is excellent. The service and staff are excellent. The rooms are well-appointed well-maintained and very comfortable. Highly recommend it

Underwhelming
We stayed at Sheen Falls Lodge last weekend and unfortunately found it very underwhelming.
The hotel feels designed more for the American tourist market than the Irish customer. Our room was particularly disappointing. How they managed to make a room in such a stunning location feel so characterless is a talent in itself.
Service was poor overall, with a few notable exceptions, and the food was mediocre. At this price point, we expected considerably more.
The setting is absolutely spectacular and with more care and attention this hotel could be outstanding. Sadly, for us, the experience simply didn’t live up to the location or reputation.

Special thanks to the Spa Manager, Alejándra
Our time at the Easanna Spa at Sheen Falls Lodge was an absolute dream from start to finish. The entire facility impresses with its immaculate cleanliness and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, beautifully enhanced by the stylish lighting and design. The pools, saunas, and relaxation areas leaves absolutely nothing to be desired.
Special thanks must go to the Spa Manager, Alejándra. Her professionalism, warm hospitality, and incredible attention to detail are reflected in the entire team and service. The treatments were of the absolute highest standard—expertly tailored to our needs and using excellent skincare products. The value for money is exceptional in every regard. We will definitely be back!

Sheen Falls Lodge is a beautiful property, with nice amenities. Unfortunately, we were unable to take advantage of the fishing opportunity as it was fully booked. We were able to take a horse back ride, but I found it rather expensive, especially considering the price we paid for the room. The restaurant service was lacking. We asked for three wines before finding one they had in stock - this was in the Stable restaurant and the overall experience there caused us to cancel our reservation for the following night in the hotel restaurant. Overall experience left me sad that this beautiful property is not being managed better for the price one pays.
