Wonderful Stay!

We were initially booked to stay at Kilronan House for 2 nights but due to an unexcepted hospitalization of a member or our group, we had to stay an extra 5 nights. Romi and his staff did everything that they could to make things with our accommodations as stress free as possible. We cannot thank them enough for the care shown to us during our stay.
The rooms are beautiful, beds are comfy and breakfast was fantastic each morning. Would highly recommend Kilronan House to anyone travelling to Dublin.
Thanks again for looking after us so well!

Very Happy With Our Stay

Kilronin House is a beautiful blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be helpful throughout our stay.
The location is ideal—perfectly situated close to both peaceful green spaces and the bustle of downtown. One of our favorite parts was the sitting area, which provided a cozy atmosphere for reading or just hanging out.
To top it off, the breakfast was excellent, and the coffee was genuinely the best I’ve had in Ireland. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-rounded and welcoming place to stay!"

Good Location and Unique Building

Nice quiet street and close to many sites in Dublin. Attentive staff and good breakfast.

Beautiful guesthouse, super kind staff, delicious and quality breakfast, we were allowed to leave our luggage early and we were even offered a cup of coffee in their cozy living room since we arrived early. The hotel was all booked and we had a very nice upgrade which we enjoyed very much and really appreciated it. Making our experience even better. The location is good and quiet, in the portobello area. All within walking distance.

Very good but too loud

Very beautiful hotel, both inside and outside. The decoration is beautiful, everything is very clean and the breakfast is excellent. On the other hand, the rooms are really very small, even for a single person. But the biggest problem is noise: there is no soundproofing. You can hear everything, the neighbors talking or the people coming up the stairs. It’s a shame because the place is nice, the staff very friendly and pro, but because of the noise between rooms and in the corridors, and, given the price, I regret my choice and would definitely not recommend this establishment.
However, I very much appreciated the beautiful attention of the hotel for offering each person goodies (hat, small bottle, bar... of St Patrick’s Day). A warm and meaningful gesture.
Last point, the majority of the customers I heard the 2 mornings at breakfast were French and they did not speak English. Why not make breakfast menus in French it could be an idea.
However, I very much appreciated the beautiful attention of the hotel for offering each person goodies (hat, small bottle, bar... of St Patrick’s Day). A warm and meaningful gesture.
