Bru Bar & Hostel has an excellent location right in the center of Cork, making it very convenient for exploring the city, pubs, and restaurants on foot. The staff were friendly enough and the atmosphere downstairs was lively, especially in the evening. However, my bed in the dorm was very uncomfortable (hard and bumpy matress), there was also a lot of street noise, which made it difficult to get a proper night’s sleep and that really affected the overall experience. It’s a decent budget option for a short stay if location matters most to you, but don’t expect much comfort.

Good Stay overall , cork is always a vibe

Overall, I had a good stay at Brew Bar Hostel. The rooms are what you'd expect from a hostel—clean, cosy enough, and comfortable.
My only real complaint is that there's no luggage room, only coin-operated lockers. If you don't have coins, it's a bit of a pain because you're left lugging your bags around trying to find somewhere to get cash or change. I'm not the Hulk, and I don't have a suitcase with wheels, so on the last day of a trip it wasn't exactly ideal.
I also kind of felt a little rushed out on my last morning. To say the least, it wasn't the most relaxing way to end my stay.
Other than that, Bells was kind as usual, and Ben was missed, as always.
But until then... lovely as always, regardless of a sore shoulder.

This was a lovely little stay on the main street in town so you didn’t have to climb a big hill to get to it. It was nice and flat. I had a very pleasant day here.

Terrible

Worst place I could think of...and this is speaking from an irish native, although the main pub and guest areas are fine, I had to leave the bedroom because the original guest change their mind and concierge if you want to call them that arrive at 12.08 to change bed linen

Convenient, comfortable and fun hostel.

The Bru Hostel is very central in Cork.
The room was basic but clean. Electrical sockets and USB sockets buy the beds all worked..
The Bru Bar itself (downstairs) is a bustling, sociable place.
Ample breakfast of toast n jam, coffee, cereal and orange juice. There is a cafe around the corner if you want something else.
St. Patrick's Quay carpark is right across the road. Covered and barrier controlled with CCTV.
