Hits all the boxes

I stayed overnight July 23rd and the visit was lovely, Natasha on reception couldn't have been more welcoming, A slight hiccup started my visit but nothing serious, more like a hilarious situation, the room was large clean and comfortable, I ate lunch and breakfast in Benners hotel, food is always top quality, Breakfast is buffet not my favourite but it tasty , I stayed in room 302 it was at the front and I knew it was going to be noisy later, the hotel is in the town centre and no-one can change what goes on outside its impossible thank you for a lovely stay,

Lovely hotel with fabulous staff in a very central location.

Lovely rooms which were very clean. Fantastic staff, especially front of house, who couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely bar and restaurant also and location is super.

Lovely Friendly Place with Ridiculously Noisy Doors

First off, giving only three stars is a hard thing to do as we love Benners and have enjoyed stays here in the past. Such a friendly hotel, so clean, so central...
But you have to be honest and review as you find it, right?
The doors. My God the doors. The noise. In my room there was no issue closing from inside but when leaving they simply do not close without giving them an almighty slam. The first day I had to report to staff that I couldnt close it as I was afraid of damaging it. He came up, gave the door an almighty lash to close it and the bang would wake the dead, nevermind anyone on the premises trying to relax or sleep in their room. When I told him that was ridiculous, he admitted that it had been reported before and that he agreed it was madness. This led to the absolutely farcical situation that I took valuables wirh me and left the door on the latch when I went down for breakfast or down to the bar late at night for fear of lifting everyone our of their beds with a door slam.
Now as you'll see from my profile I have 1000's of reviews and am well travelled, so I'm not probne to exaggeration in all fairness.
My elderly parents physically could not close the door either. Sort it out Benners, you have lovely, friendly hotel with very comfortable rooms. But I'm the sort of active person who uses a hotel just to sleep in, so whats the point when I'm woken every time someone has to slam their door to close it.

Lovely stay in Tralee

Friendly welcome from reception , very helpful .
Beautiful setting downstairs
Lovely atmosphere in the bar
Great location in centre of town .
Breakfast was average and the room we stayed in was very noisy directly under the conservatory. Room was tired .
