Beautiful Pier House
Pier House in Doolin is lovely! I canʻt say enough about the warmth and kindness we received from Michael and Clare-bear! Our room was under the A frame eaves with the most comfortable bed you can imagine. Listening to the sound of the rain against the roof was heavenly. Michael who plays music in the pubs was warm and charming with a delightful dry sense of humor. Clare bear is as funny as she is sweet and I could have listened to her stories for hours. The food is glorious and plentiful, Michael bakes everything by hand. You are brought your own French pressed pot of coffee in the morning at your table as well as a basket of toast and scones. Its a quick 4 minute walk to the Ferry and because we were taking the ferry to Inishmore the next day, Michael was gracious enough to suggest we park our car on his property while we were gone. Michael and Clare are charming hosts and my daughter and I enjoyed our stay very much! I would highly recommend The Pier House.

Perfect get away near the pier for moher cliffs
Outstanding , lovely hosts , parking off road ample of space in room with excellent shower room, and the most amazing breakfast and option for veggie to boot.
Our room gave lovely views of golf course and sea , location is just up road from pier but up from the pubs giving best location for quiet time while allowing access to lively pubs for refreshments.

What a view!
Clare was a wonderful host at her oceanfront home. Large airy rooms with views of the cliffs. You can walk to town or to the ferry pier which is important as parking even in September is next to impossible. Breakfast was very good.

Horrible Experience
When ever I book a small Bed and Breakfast I always like to call the day before I am arriving just to double check on my reservation. There was no answer but I did leave a message saying we would be arriving the next evening and to please call me if there was any problem. When we arrived at Pier House we were told by the owners son that our reservation had been canceled due to an illness. We were not notified by booking.com and I did not receive a phone call from Pier House. We had three rooms booked for a Saturday night stay so we were in quite a difficult situation. We asked the manager if he could help us find another place for us to stay and he said we would have to call around. We asked if we could use the bathroom since we had been driving for hours and he said no. He basically closed the door in our face. Later that evening we saw him at the pub playing with the band.
I know Pier House pays a service fee to Booking.com to handle situations like this and believe me I am going to leave a scathing review for them as well, but as a business owner you should always follow up with your guests personally. Knowing they were canceling a party of 6 with three rooms and knowing it would be difficult for us to find another place to stay they should have found us another booking and left an envelope on the door with the new reservation. Based on the way we were treated I would never recommend Pier House to anyone.

Gorgeous Stay with Wonderful Host
Pier House is absolutely lovely! Clare is the sweetest most lovely host and she will make you feel so welcome and wonderful and she is such a joy to talk to! Our room was beautiful with windows all around that looked out towards the Atlantic and Doolin Cliffs, we loved sleeping with the windows open as you could hear the ocean outside. Breakfast was phenomenal and Clare is an amazing cook! My husband and I both had the full Irish breakfast both mornings and it was some of the best breakfast we had during our whole trip. The B&B is in the perfect location, a 5-10min walk to the main street with great pubs and food and about a 8min walk to Doolin Pier where you can catch the ferries to the Aran islands! It's also within walking distance to the start of the cliffs of Moher hiking trail start. It's a beautiful spot and if you're looking for a place to relax but also have a great time then I highly recommend staying here!
