Amazing accommodation

Location was excellent. Plenty of shops and things to do. Atmosphere in the hotel was great, very new and spotless clean. The rooms, beds, amenities, bathrooms was amazing. Value for money The service in the hotel and the restaurant bar was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, so was the service Only one small problem, there is live music in the back terrace of the pub. Can be loud. But, generally finishes up around midnight. I think the music is just weekends. Besides that, everything was wonderful and my family and I had an incredible time. Would visit and stay again if I travel back to Moate in West Meath.

I booked a table for our wedding anniversary, but it wasn't ready. On top of that, the food was terrible: the steak was so salty it was inedible, and the coleslaw was old and unfit to eat. I do not recommend this place—the chef needs to be replaced.

Excellent time

Stopped at the auld shebeen for a few drinks and something to eat, staff were excellent and very accommodating for my wife who uses a rolator. Food was very good and Finn the owner couldn't do enough for us.

Amazing venue and food

If I could give more than a 5 star I would, absolutely amazing since it has re opened, the food is so beautiful,, I had rang as my mam was attending for a meal with family for her birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make sure all had an amazing time and food was amazing,, thank you so much
