Price quality is excellent

Good beds. Good shower. Average room. If you want luxury you shouldn't be here. But for the price we paid it is a great stay for a few nights. Near the station and easy to walk

OK for a few hours of sleep

Friendly staff, location is good, close to old Dutch buildings and café Batavia. The rooms are quite clean, the bed is also OK, but otherwise the hotel is very basic. For example, we had no window in our bedroom. It's OK for a few hours of sleep.

Mixed feelings

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights because we were not sure where to stay in Jakarta. From the photos, it looked like everything is a good as new but in reality, you don’t want to be staying in the room the whole day. Since we did spent our time outside and only came back at night to shower and sleep, we can’t really complain much.
The only thing I can’t understand is why is our room’s aircond facing our bathroom. The room took time to cool down and mind you, we can hear the sound of train as if it is next to our room too.
Walking distance to Pasar Pagi so this is a good point for those who want to shop for batik and other apparel. It is also walking distance to the museums and convenient store.
Breakfast was uhh.. not so impressive but it does caters for locals.
Staff was polite and some are very helpful. We booked this hotel via Traveloka but we had to wait for 2 hours before getting our key because Traveloka didn’t have them any email regarding our booking.
Overall, not gonna stay here if I’m with my spouse or family unless we just want to shop at Pasar Pagi and ITC Mangga Dua.

Very basic hotel but comfortable enough for the week I was there. It could do with a bit of love, but was otherwise clean and safe. The a/c in my room sounded very asthmatic but it lasted the week and worked well.
Opposite the hotel is a bus station if that's your thing, one stop away from the main north-south route which will get you anywhere in Jakarta. They are easy to use but you need to buy a swipe card. If you prefer more comfort, taxis are everywhere and even a long ride in one will only cost a few dollars. Heavy traffic means you do take a lot longer getting places than the distance suggests though, especially in the evening.
Within walking distance of the hotel are several malls and small shops, though the area is not pedestrian friendly, and not a place for small kids. The hotel is on a busy road but the rooms are quiet and comfortable. Rooms have no windows; my single room was just a little box room with 'wet' bathroom at one end.
Breakfast buffet was very basic but the quality and quantity is OK. There are usually a couple of choices only, but changed each day.

Twins - not even a 2 star hotel

Very unimpressed with this hotel - we stayed 4 nights and on the first day we arrived most rooms were unoccupied - and they stayed that way most of the time we were there. This should have been a sign.
We spotted 1 or 2 ants on the first day on the floor and thought nothing of it - by day 2 there were so many of them all over the floor and beds. We told reception who said they would spray the room - which they did. But the next night we saw more ants and told them again. The windows do not shut properly and the air-conditioning was poor.
We asked for nearby places to book trips to snorkel etc and the gentleman on the desk put us in touch with his "friend" Karl. We paid 500,000 each for a day trip with multiple snorkel trips, lunch and a private boat. Not only did he not show up at the marina - he came to find us almost 2hrs later and said the trip would still happen - needless to say this was all a scam - the trip lasted 4hrs - we snorkelled once and had to buy lunch - all in all not what we paid for and Karl had vanished quite quickly. Not a great experience.
