Nice place to relax

Very nice hotel in a quiet environment of the Kuta area. Very well maintained, with all the necessary comfort. The rooms are beautiful and overlook the garden and pool. The pool is small but nice. Very few umbrellas and deck chairs, but apparently sufficient, because the structure remains on a human scale. The restaurant offers good food, but no more. A small downside - waiting to be served can be long. Also, the beach nearby is very beautiful, but also very dirty with plastic waste coming from Australia; therefore not necessarily very nice.

Order the trio coco curry or bebeq duo

My best experience on Lombok, the rooms are specious and comfortable, the staff ready to help for anything. The lodge it self is a small paradise in a tropical garden well maintained, the massage in their outdoor spa was the best of my holidays, the breakfast are incredible (it really is a big plus) and the food served at their restaurant is delicious, fresh, a very good mix between western and local. I warmly recommend this place to stay

Wonderful villa with great facilities

We actually did not stay at Owa Lodge but we stayed at their private villa (Gudea living) which is part of the same facility. I would highly recommend staying at that villa if you’re in a big group of people as it has very spacious clean rooms, a private pool and kitchen. We were 5 couples that stayed there and we had an absolute blast. The staff were super friendly and also provided us with daily housekeeping. There was also a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options available to us. If staying there we recommend booking motorbikes through the property as it’s the best way to get around to the beach and also the various towns and restaurants.

Run Away!

Horrible – you have much better options on Lombok at similar cost. This place was deeply disappointing: black mold all over the shower, broken ceiling fan, lamp that didn’t work, A/C that never cooled room. Manager and owner really couldn’t be bothered. This place has a bad vibe, a family compound for the French family that owns it, funded by travelers that they don’t respect. Also, some genius built it right adjacent to a pond that never dries & so mosquitos are prolific. Eat here if you want – the food is very good – but don’t lodge.

Quiet hidden gem.

Our first visit to Lombok. The people at Owa Lodge could not be nicer. Organised pickup from the airport, scooter hire and driver to Senggigi when we left. Special mention must go the the staff at night for the food and service - excellent. We had booked the family lodge but found the upstairs very warm so changed to a twin room which in hindsight was much nicer.
The beach at Are Guling is rather dirty (typical of Lombok in general) as they really haven’t got the infrastructure which is appearing in Bali. Reef it sea grass covered and fairly surfer friendly. The road in is pretty rough but once on the main road conditions are great.
