Comfortable and enjoyable stay

Lala Salama Backpacker is an amazing hostel with a great vibe, delicious food and comfy beds. This is the first time I have stayed in a hostel and what an experience. The staff are helpful and friendly, an amazing pool, games and chill hang out areas. The cost of food and drinks are reasonable. The shower and toilet facilities are good, attention to detail perhaps needed in the shower due to timescale build up but all in all, the facilities were clean and up to standard.
The location on Lala is good, it is slightly out of the way or Bangsal and surrounding areas but it is definitely a must stay! There is a beach not too far from Lala.
We had a lift from the staff at Lala so we could get to our boat ride at Bangsal port, they were reasonable and got us there with plenty of time to spare.

Good for 1 night

The hostel was okay for 1 night. The rooftop bar/restaurant was very cozy and good food! Location was good if you want to go to the Gili Islands.
The room was small, but that's all it had to be.
We were not so satisfied with the service. The welcome was not welcome and it seemed like we were inconvenient. We had a few questions about the ferry to the gili islands, but she could not help us or give information. What a shame, because somewhere you expect some tips or advice from a hostel.
The other woman, who worked in the rooftop, eventually helped us.
We slept very badly.. the mosque is nearby and very loud, we woke up from it. We also woke up to the other guests who were partying, laughing, calling in the middle of the night in the hallway. Very thin walls so you can really hear everything..
In the end it was okay for 1 night, but we were happy to travel again.

Green & chill spot along the coast

Excellent food and worth for money ; small infinite pool good music and green scenery along the coast; would definitely recommend!
Good drinks including mojito (60kidr) and Bintang lemon (30k)
Staff is very friendly and genuine ;free wifi

Quick, but very enjoyable stop

Just a quick stop on my way to the ferry, but felt welcomed straight away. Rooms are new and have enough space to store belongings, charging ports, and light. In the morning, Abdul made the best pancakes I had in Indonesia and had lovely pizza in the evening. Oh, yeah.. You can't beet a happy hour deal, and the cocktails were spot on!

Nice and clean

The accommodation was very clean and the people very nice. The pool was nice, the only area for improvement could be sunbeds by the pool. The people at the hostel helped us with tips about the area, and helped us find a good boat back to Bali with a shuttle.
