Very good place

The location is very good in Ubud.
It's super central but away from the noise.
It has a garden area which is where the villas are.
Very comfortable pool.
The boy attends is very helpful, you can ask him what you need and he tries to help you.
At breakfast you have to be patient because he is alone and everything he does.
It only has omelet and pankake.

The worst experience

Very bad. Especially as female solo traveler. The place doesn't have reception. Everything is very low budget, mostly find yourself. When I came the sheets were dirty, blanket was not dressed, window was broken, doors and balcony doors was locking very bad. Didn't feel safe at all. Not worth any money.

A mix of great and not so great

PROS - Beautiful pool and garden area
- Location is excellent
- Good air con, cold fridge
- No shared walls, bungalow is separate from other buildings
- Spacious room
- Breakfast plus fruit and coffee or tea brought to your doorstep in the mornings - the banana pancakes were great
- Table and chairs on patio nice to relax in and eat breakfast
- Friendly staff
CONS
- Hot water lasts about 5 minutes maximum
- Bath leaks and doesn’t hold water, constantly wet bathroom floor
- Wifi barely works
- They are very pushy about taxis and activities, even going so far as to let people into the hotel who try to sell stuff to you
- No sound proofing so loud noises at night made it difficult to sleep, plus we had a bird nesting in our roof who would flap and give us a scare every now amd them.
- There was a lockable cabinet but we weren’t given a key
The Warung attached to the front did good cocktails but the food was not good at all.

Simple but good

Alit Bungalows in Ubud is simple but has everything you could need including a decent and clean pool. Our room had a shower that was a little difficult but the other rooms were all good. Breakfast was great and service was exceptional even though the price was very reasonable. Will definitely be back.

Dinner

We had a nice evening there. Beautiful garden and good music. Food was perfect and quite cheap for Bali standards. Do not eat at the restaurants at the main road when places like Alit are around. Try the Nasi Campur when you like local food.
