Unforgettable time at Lavinia Sunset

We can wholeheartedly recommend a stay at the Lavinia Sunset. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but easy to get to by taxi and scooter. The whole team is very friendly and Maya and her son Rex make the stay unforgettable. They helped us with our travel planning and left no wish unfulfilled. With the organized land tour we were able to see a lot of North Lombok in just one day. You did have to spend some time in the car, but the tour to the waterfalls is worth it! Ask for Ari as a guide to the waterfalls, the boy is great! The atmosphere at the Lavinia Sunset is very familiar and you can tell that everyone is very passionate about what they do. You shouldn't miss out on Maya's cooking skills! At breakfast there is special bread (finally no toast) and since I don't eat eggs, I was even allowed to request cheese.
Thanks to the whole crew for the unforgettable stay.

Best Experience in Indonesia

What an incredible host. Maya was literally the bees knees. She couldn’t do enough for us. She even organized someone to collect our laundry as it got wet on the way to Lombok. The view was breathtaking as was the pool. The breakfast was the best I’ve had in Indonesia. She just kept bringing more. I definitely wasn’t hungry afterwards. Definitely no need for lunch. The accommodation was more than sufficient. As far as value for money is concerned, I rate this place full marks.

Fantastic hotel

We stayed here for 5 days and Sunset Lavinia was amazing. Very peaceful, super helpful and police staff and the owner Maya was a perfect host. Everybody treated us like royals and we really enjoyed. If we ever come back to Lombok, we are definitely coming here.

Dinner

We were invited to a pool dinner at the Sunset Lavinia. The sunset view down to Senggigi and across to Bali is amazing. Maya the owner produced an amazing barbeque for about 15 people. The food was delicious.

Great place to stay

We booked one night at Sunset Lavinia but directly extended for another night after we arrived. The place is located on a small hill and provides you with a stunning view.
The owner (Maya) and her staff are so friendly and helpful. Maya is an amazing chef and we had dinner twice. The breakfast was also very delicious.
We will definitely come back if we ever get the chance to visit Lombok again.
