Vacation in family

I really recommend this place, where every morning and every evening is a moment of wonder with this exceptional panorama. Pricilia and Putu are incredibly welcoming and take great care of you. Whether it's advice or cooking, everything has been perfect! These hosts are extremely warm and welcoming people, and you'll have a superb stay here!

nice accommodation and super friendly hosts

very hospitable family where you stay. You can watch the sunset and sunrise from your large terrace. The accommodation is located near rice fields, and you can enjoy the locals here, so you can see the real Bali.

Amazing place in the mountains.

Amazing place in the mountains. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful place.
Umejero is aside of tourist road (8 km from Munduk), but has an unbelievable view on mountains, rice terrace and the sea.
From the house you can see sunset and sunrise. We had the best room in the cottage on the 2nd floor and just enjoy for 3 days.
Breakfast are big and tasty, also you can order a good lunch or dinner with chicken or pork.
Unfortunately Gede is not working here any more, but his nephew Putuh and his wife Priscilla do their best to feel you at home. Putuh shows me Umejero waterfall and together with guys we had an amazing Christmas dinner.

Best view in Munduk area

We really recommend this place if you want to relax & learn much about the culture & of course if you want to have an incredible view!
Gede (the owner) picked us up from Ubud and showed us some nice spots on the way to the hotel. He is a really nice & friendly host & he gave us interesting information about Bali and the culture. He even brought us to a ceremony where we could taste traditional food and met many friendly Balinese.
Komang (part of the staff) is also really welcoming and nice & did everything to make us feel like we are at home!
The food is also delicious & fresh.
We really enjoyed it!

Balinese culture and beautiful Nature

Stayed 2 nights spontaneously and it was simply amazing! Lovely housekeeper (Komang) was trying hard to make our stay a memorable one. The Owner (Gede) took us to a wedding that was taking place on our arrival, showed us around on a family plantage of his 'foster family' and we picked fresh ingredients for our 'cooking class' to prepare our dinner for the night. Overall both tried very hard to make us not only feel at home but to be Part of their family - Real Balinese Homestay feeling The chats we had with Gede were not your everyday chitchat but we talked about Personal things and got to know about his cultural view or experiences throughout our stay, but no forced conversation because you felt the need to talk! The room located near countless rice fields is very calm & relaxed, breathtaking view and scenery (sunrise and sunset both easily to spectate). Room is spacious, clean, very comfy bed, warm water, free water refill available, and many more positive aspects. WiFi wasnt working due to a failure of faulty connection cables of the Provider, but for any questions concerning what to Gede will have plenty of good recommendations (village waterfalls is a must see!). Be warned this is a rural village: not many Restaurants, Shopping places etc around. This place is for chilling and relaxing. If you are sound sensitive, bring ear plugs because you might hear roosters in the morning waking you up ;)
