Lovely setting and a friendly welcome assured.

Accommodation only basis, four wooden chalets look out onto a small, but adequate swimming pool. (About 14 breast strokes long.) But with only a handful of guests staying here at one time, the pool is very often quiet / empty, so good for a quiet relaxing dip and lie in the sun. The pool is surrounded by coconut / palm trees and is rather lovely.
That said, there is a bit of traffic noise breaking the tranquility at various point during the day. It really didn't detract as far as i was concerned though.
Majorda beach is an easy 15 minute amble down through the village, and several excellent restaurants are within a similar walking distance.
The Rainbows End is run by the lovely Lovey and her husband, and though we didn't have much cause to seek them out, when we did (faulty kettle and me being too stupid to operate the tv) these matters were attended to immediately.
The place, and the chalets are clean, but the only reason I have not given 5 'stars' is that I feel it is looking a bit tired / jaded in places.
I really enjoyed my stay (two weeks) here and would certainly recommend it - please just remember, you are not booking The Ritz or whatever. But equally, you are not paying Ritz style prices.
Definitely worth checking out, in my opinion.

Cozy cabin by the pool .

Was here for a wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better place . After all the group activities at the wedding and other beach sports , it was good to have a small cozy
(a/c)cabin by the pool where I could just wind down and have some privacy . The host was very friendly .

Pleasant small resort friendly owners.

Pleasant chalets around a small swimming pool, about 15 minutes walk to the beach along a country lane. We messed up our booking but they found us a place in the homestay opposite run by Franco, the friendly father in law of Lovie who runs Rainbows end. We are very good prawns in garlic at the barefoot shack run by Lovie's husband and enjoyed a kingfisher as the sun went down, then had breakfast at Franco's bar opposite next day. A real good family affair.

One of the best in Majorda

If you are looking for a quiet exclusive yet affordable place to stay and holiday in Goa, this is one very good option. First off though, avoid North Goa at all costs, unless you prefer the noisy crowds. Majorda is a beautiful option located ideally from both airport and railway station and anyways in Goa the option of self driven vehicles available on hire allows easy commute. The hosts and one of the nicest couples and you wont feel like you are away from home at any point of time. The wooden rooms are cosy and clean and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. The resort has its own beach shack (Barefoot) and you can laze around in the beach all day long, whilst enjoying the intermittent swim in the sea. For an early breakfast (ie before 11.00 am) try out Andre's , which is about couple of hundred meters down the beach road. Also must try is Masterchef Victoria bakery and Anjuna BAkery for locally made goodies- you'll find them both on Google maps.

Simple and beautiful cottage!

We stayed 8th to 12th December!
It is a nice place, around 1km away from the Majorda beach! Very green locality! They have 4 wooden cottage rooms and well designed, maintained, though rooms are smaller, but good enough! Nice clean swimming pool!
For local travel, you need to hire / have a 2 / 4 wheeler and we hired it. South Goa beaches are very neat and clean! Spending time in early morning and evening time is very peaceful!
Also have 2-3 restaurants nearer to this and certainly nice! Generally no issue for lunch and dinner! It was bit challenging
for getting breakfast in the morning around this hotel in time!
Both Lovey and her hubby are nice host and always helpful and made all necessary arrangement! We enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful trip!
