the overall experience felt comfortable and memorable
We recently visited Chunda Shikar Oudi in Batherda, Udaipur with our family, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The resort is surrounded by beautiful nature, offering a peaceful and relaxing environment away from the city’s noise.
The staff was extremely polite, helpful, and always ready to assist us with a smile. Their hospitality made our stay even more special. The food was delicious, with a good variety of options suitable for all family members.
The property is well-maintained, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. What we loved the most was the calm atmosphere and the scenic views all around – perfect for a family getaway.
The staff was extremely polite, helpful, and always ready to assist us with a smile. Their hospitality made our stay even more special. The food was delicious, with a good variety of options suitable for all family members.

The most memorable weekend break
When we checked into the property, Manager Mr. Chandra Vijay Ji greeted us so warmly and showed us around. I had seen a lot of the property on Instagram but hadn’t heard from anyone personally, so technically I had no expectations. He told me, “This property grows on you” — and he was right.
We stayed in the most stunning room — the 2-bedroom Oudi — which in itself is a massive highlight of the property. The stay, the experience, the food, and the warmth were unmatched and unparalleled to any of my previous stays.
A special shoutout to Bhawana Ji who, along with her husband, took utmost care of all our needs. After 3 days of being wonderfully overfed, on the last day we had to literally request them to not give us more food!
Every single experience was beautifully curated — whether it was high tea at sunset point, dinner under the stars with a cozy bonfire and live santoor in the background, or the private screening of the World Cup match in our villa, arranged so stunningly by the rock pool.
The icing on the cake was spotting the elusive leopard. We also celebrated Holi there and the vibe was fantastic! The way they took care of my 4-year-old son was incredible — from pampering him with a little turtle as a pet for those 4 days to taking him fishing. I am speechless and spellbound.
I cannot recommend this property enough and I cannot wait to go back. Mr. Hada, this property and your hospitality truly grew on me, and on the last day I did not wish to leave. Thank you for the memories!
Special mention to Moti Bhaiya and Kanu Bhaiya who took such great care of us — we will forever remember their love.

A truly unforgettable stay! This resort beautifully captures a rich heritage vibe, blending traditional charm with modern comfort. Surrounded by serene landscapes, the lake view adds a magical touch—especially during sunrise and sunset.
The jungle safari experience was thrilling and well-organized, giving a real sense of adventure. Boating on the calm waters was equally relaxing and scenic.
