Ideally located for exploring Thanjavur Big Temple

Ideally located within walking distance of Thanjavur big temple. Somewhat old property which could do better with housekeeping and property maintenance. No restaurant -but plenty of eateries nearby and you can get food delivered, Room size OK for a nights stay, The bathroom fittings are a bit dated but functional. Hotel has limited parking space -there is a big public parking place in front of the property ,

Neat, reasonable & walking distance to the Big temple

Very good budget friendly lodge, clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and basic toiletries and towels were also provided by the lodge. The location is strategic and is on the main road right in front of the Big temple (closer to the back entrance). There is a Krishna Bhavan restaurant in walking distance. Would definitely stay here if we are in Thanjavur again.

Neat, reasonable & walking distance to the Big temple

Abi's residency seems to be a relatively new property and is in walkable to the majestic Brihadeeshwara temple.
The rooms are neat, clean including Bathrooms where basic toiletries were offered like soap and shampoo. The rooms are reasonable and the staff is helpful. The rooms also had towels and a coffee/tea vending machine. They dont have a restaurant - not a problem, just on the way to the temple there is a Krishna Bhavan restaurant and you can eat all that you want there :).
If we go back to see the Big temple again, we'll certainly stay here once more.

Good Location. Close to Big temple

Abi Residency is a recent 6 month old property as of Dec 2021. It is well located and close to Big Temple in Thanjavur. The large room was good with nice bed sheets and bed and pillows. Bathroom, surprisingly was also clean. AC worked well. Only drawback was no restaurant in the premises although they promise to get you limited breakfast for Rs 100 per person.
