Homely stay in budget and close to market

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Al Azrah! The property is located in a very calm and peaceful part of Raj Bagh, making it a perfect retreat after a long day of sightseeing. The garden area is lovely, with playful cat and kitten, the hospitality was exceptional—the hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our room was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with necessary amenities like geysers and heaters. Important is its homely stay and we were always catered homely order foods. Good and hygienic meals and breakfast.
Excellent value for money in Srinagar. Highly recommended!

Perfect experience

Hello I am from the United States of America. I came to visit Kashmir and stayed at this location via Jyoti Travels Inc.
Chef Lalli & Faisal’s Khan front desk service were beyond hospitable!!
Chef Lalli was the most welcoming individual I’ve ever met, made us feel very safe and has immense culinary skills.
Faisal Khan at the front desk, was very accommodating to our foreign needs. He was able to accommodate myself and my elderly parents, he had a very welcoming smile and was dressed very well which actually motivated me to dress even better ☺️
The entire Kitchen staff under Chef Lalli were also very good respectable young men. I appreciate everybody’s efforts at that location.
God bless them all a very long life and happiness.

Horrible! Scammers!

Very bad hotel , you will feel scamed after being there , booked 3 months prior , they given us a room with aluminium section main door ( yes exactly what a bathroom door will b in some of our homes ) , no buffet dinner / breakfast, they prepare in limited qty after you go for dine-in , very rude hotel owner / manager ,
Asked for hot water , he replied that is what it is !!!
Worst experience in whole of my life till date

Bad experience

Very poor experience. The owner was quite hostile and non-cooperative when it came to any kind of service. Every interaction with him turned into an argument. We stayed there for four days and we started avoiding talking to him by the second day. He would constantly sulk about the high costs of any complimentary service that we asked for. We had booked 3 rooms with complimentary breakfast. When we went to order parathas for the next morning breakfast, we were told things like there is a limit of two parathas per person, if you want more parathas then there will be no bread jam and that paneer paratha will be too costly to make.
The rooms were of poor quality, the bathroom had leaky jets, the bed had only a single sized bedwarmer that was spread horizontally to cover both mattresses. The bedsheets were unclean as well as torn. The bathrooms were clearly visible from the windows across. Half of the lights in the room stopped working after the first day.
Food quality was okay, kind of homely but sometimes undercooked, sometimes too oily and sometimes too less.
The only saving grace of this place was the helpful and caring staff, which were polite and ready to help. The owner made our experience a horrible one. All attention was being given to beautify the place while customer service suffered. We still wonder how this place had such high ratings online.

Amazing and Beautiful

The property is very neat and clean. The rooms are very spacious and washrooms are very neat and clean. I stayed there for 4 Nights and the experience was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place for couples and families.
