Nice, quiet, clean

I have stayed at the Vishal Hotel a couple of times and if I'm ever in Siliguri again I'll stay there again. The rooms are clean, so is the bedding. The staff are friendly and they have a decent menu of good food. Reasonably priced. WiFi is available in the lobby but the router is too far from the rooms to get a signal unless you stay in room 101, which is above the lobby. Room 101 also has a view over the road and there is a small balcony just outside the room, which is a pleasant place to sit. Although the hotel is near the busy, noisy Hill Cart Road it is in a quiet location (Patel Road) which is pretty quiet. AC and non-AC rooms are available.

It's not hotel it's brothel

Never go to this hotel I found used condom in my room and when I told this to mannager he just laughed.. I left the the hotel and they did not even refund my money never go to this hotel... Better they change its name to Brothel

Just awful

I would advise against staying here. The man who ‘checked us in’ was rude, lazy, unhelpful and indifferent to our enquiries.
No warm welcome whatsoever. Just rudely demanded our passports.
We asked for toilet paper for our room and were told to go outside to buy some.
We informed him that his booking.com profile listed various facilities I.e. a tour desk. Again he told us to go outside. He also claimed they didn’t do food- we saw other guests eating and ordering room service.
Would advise people to not stay here! Not clean- bathroom was filthy. Bed was akin to sleeping on concrete.

Very Bad hotel

Manager behaviour was very bad. Staff of this hotel not proffessional. Quality of food not available.
Rooms are not clean, dirty area. Does not maintain properly the hotel furnishes. Service of this hotel truely disgusting

Pretty decent budget hotel

I must say our first impression of this hotel was not good (look wise) we stayed there for 1 day in April 2013 before starting our trip to Bhutan.
Sans the first impression I would say the hotel was good enough, the staff were friendly and helpful. They actually helped us find the address of Gati warehouse where our bikes were coming and helped us with other small things.
The room given to us was spacious and clean. The lien was also washed and clean. The blankets provided was soft and nice.
Toilets was also clean and useable ( something that we found dirty in other seemingly good hotels we checked out previously) and yes we had hot water ( geyser worked)
A TV was provided and it worked well.
I wont say the stay was luxurious but for a budget hotel we couldn't have asked for more
I don't exactly remember how the food was as we probably had food from there once but I believe it was good as we cant recollect any dissatisfaction.
The hotel has a decent parking space in front of it. Only draw back I felt was the lack of proper charging points as there were two of us and multiple gadgets that needed to be charged :-) but other than that we were satisfied with the hotel.
I believe we paid Rs1400/- for a double room with AC ( AC was effective)
I will stay there gain
Ps: My rating is from a budget hotel point of view
